My guess is that she will table a confidence vote linked with the so called Brexit (it's not Brexit!) deal and try to force her own backbenchers to support the deal on pain of the Government falling and of the backbenchers losing the Conservative whip.

This is the device that the most uninspiring Major government tried over 25 years ago with the Maastricht treaty: the treaty was only passed because the government linked it with a confidence vote.

I guess some sceptics who won't abide the deal disaster going in the name of Brexit will reason that Mrs May has already destroyed the Conservative Party, and won't be leading the Party into the next election, so why not put principle before career and vote for what they believe in (i.e., not this so called Brexit deal which keeps the UK under EU law, truncates the United Kingdom and gives the EU 39 billion that could be better spent elsewhere) and finally put Mrs. May's Prime Ministership out of its misery. How many will do this remains to be seen.

(One can't necessarily believe a word most of the MPs say in any case.)

So all that really matters is abiding in Jesus Christ, because all else outside of him is of Satan's works.

I never said I was looking forward to what revelations reveals, accept the part where God ultimately wins. The context of what I said was that many people suffered as a result of pharaoh stubbornness , but ultimately God knew that through all that happened the people of Israel would be released and free.
Of course Satan is part of what happens in this world, but revelations is a glimpse into the future through an all knowing God. Sadly it's not just those who do not know Christ who are being decieved by Satan, isn't that why the bible tells us to be on our guard. I actually think many Christians forget about the real battle that is being played out ( Ephesians 6 ) and do not test anything or evaluate or pray for their eyes to be opened to the influences and attacks from Satan. After all he is very subtle.
Read a brilliant book recently called ' fervent ' by Prescilla Shirer - it's mainly aimed at women, but helpful in understanding the subtle attacks, especially with regards to relationships with others.
I personally didn't learn to much about Satan when I first came to faith 35 years ago, personally think it should be talked about more. Oh I knew he existed, but my perception of him was really from watching horrow films as a teenager - how he works at times was hidden, especially how he works within church environments and family

I am not God , I do not see the bigger picture or what is truly happening within the spiritual realms.

I have often wondered if we , Gods people , play a part- only a thought, but if Satan can get Gods people bickering, distracted, complacent ect then their prayers will be impacted and directed by what they face, feel, see ect. Our prayers impact the unseen spiritual realm, so if we are to be affective then surely we need to be more aware and more alert - that can only come about if our eyes are opened and we pray with knowledge and insight. That requires us to stop, reflect, and allow God to influence those prayers..........when we pray properly then who knows what we actually stop Satan and his demons doing. We all play a part in the battle......... Thinking out loud, don't know if it's right or not!!
