all living things seek and gather were they can receive the sustenance of the life they are living. and the perceived source of that sustenance is their god their provider of all thing life to them.


Lev_11:45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
Lev_22:33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.
Lev_25:38 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

Num_15:41 I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.


note that the Lord steps into the lives of the Israelites via using Moses as go between and states " For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God"

if you also notice the Lord their God provided sustenance, safe passage, land, protection, so on and so forth for the life they were living, even to this day. hence whatever one's provider is to live the life one is living is their god.

ether that or worship a god of their own image and likeness. such as an idol or what they idolize, and say that's God, or that's what God is, but its really their own god or maybe better said idol.

sure it could be the universe itself, or something to that effect. we see "mother earth paganism" creeping back into society people who see that the earth is their provider. so on and so forth.

movies used to mock such things now they honor it.


but basically birds will flock were the feed is, because it supports the life they live. no different with man.
