"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live" (Deuteronomy 30:19).
The word "descendants" in the above passage is defined in the original language, as "seed" or "child."

For our generation...God has set before us: Abortion. We even get to vote on it. Question is, in His context, do unborn lives matter? Apparently they do. And don't think for a minute that He does not have access to your voting records.

But there's more: The unborn of our age--the church age, includes both those born of the flesh and also those born of the spirit. Both have been set before our generation in particular. What does that mean? It means that since Jesus pointed the comparison out to us--we have a new parable. A parable of the unborn of flesh that points to the unborn again. Those yet in the oven, so to speak. Those who are on a course leading to life everlasting. And what? Are they to be carried through full gestation and birth, or cut out of the opportunity?

Your choice.

But it would be good to consider just what it is you are deciding...as by that same measure, we shall also be judged.

As for voting, it too is a parable. Where we stand on that day, is just a small illustration of a greater moral or spiritual reality.

Life does matter.

People who end up doing this come to Christ even afterwards…

It’s still something in a persons life which could push for adoption rather than the murdering of life.

Even though in the Bible it says, an unborn child dying doesn’t see the evils of this life.” That unborn is spiritually resurrected in Heaven. I take it like that…

There was a black lady on the radio station which admitted to doing so, but realized that what she did wasn’t right when coming to the LORD.

It’s like that for many people.

I hope that y'all don't mind me jumping in here with a related issue but not totally linear if you will.
Recently a famous musician (whom I am not going to name because I do not believe that she deserves any more recognition than she already has) released a pro-abortion song that is having a huge impact.
It keeps popping up on my news feed even though I'm trying to ignore it so I finally decided maybe I'm not supposed to be ignoring this.

One thing that is so upsetting to me is how people keep jumping up and down and screaming about how a woman should have the right to do with her own body whatever she wants.
Science has proven that what is inside the uteri of pregnant women has their own unique human DNA not the mother's DNA.
Science has proven that the contents of pregnant women's uteri are not the pregnant women but rather another brand new human being who never existed before.

I can see how people could not want to get into the complicated and murky philosophical discussion of whether these living human beings are living human 'persons'.
But it actually hurts my brain that people can think somebody who has his or her own unique human DNA is another human being not their own selves.

I would like to respectfully suggest to Christians / followers of Messiah Yeshua that we focus more on this and other scientific truths when we discuss the subject of abortion with people who think it should be legal / isn't wrong / whatever rather than religious or emotional issues.

Unfortunately millions upon millions of women and girls look up to this musician & many of them actually worship her (although they may not be aware of that).

I would like to respectfully ask that anyone who feels called to do so pray against this demonic influence of this evil song and that it will not have a 'positive' effect meaning it will not have the effect it wants which is to make people vote for politicians who are pro-abortion and make people in general think that abortion should be legal and is a perfectly acceptable thing to do.

I would like to go so far as to suggest that we pray for this poor confused deluded person that she becomes aware of what she has done and makes a public announcement that she's repudiating the abortions she had and the previous pro-abortion stance she had.

I would also like to respectfully request that we all pray for and vote for situations to exist so that the horrible circumstances that drive women to abortions such as poverty, lack of support, employment issues, housing issues, medical insurance issues, spiritually abusive religious congregations that shame instead of supporting and loving women who get pregnant when they're not married, and lack of understanding about how positive adoption is cease to exist and we start living in a world where abortion is unthinkable for certain.
