So no comment on the text - okay.
Revelation 12
9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

You know what a simile is right?

18 And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven Lk 10:18.

What adversary do you think he was referring to Amigo?

I don't think you both have the spine to tackle the text so I'll help you both along.

Here is an honest Christian commentary - read it and let me know if you can match its honesty?

a. Jesus meant, “I saw Satan’s original fall, his expulsion from heaven.”

b. He meant, “In my victory over the devil during the wilderness temptation I saw his fall.”

The trouble with both of these interpretations is that they are not contextual.

William Hendriksen and Simon J. Kistemaker, Exposition of the Gospel According to Luke, vol. 11 of New Testament Commentary (Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 1953–2001), 580.

Jack & Amigo, do you know what is meant by its not contextual?

What do you think I've been quoting that YOU didn't "have the spine to tackle"? It's called SCRIPTURE, something JW's know almost nothing about.

Contextual, another JW fav? lol

You have avoided Scripture like plague, like a dedicated JW!

Seems like Amigo has left the building....no come back on what a simile is and maybe struggling with the word contextual?

Okay Jack...so is it a. or b. for you? You clearly dont avoid the Scripture like a plague.

Which is your chosen interpratation or do you have another?

There is a c. option also if you're interested and if you look at the context a d. option also.

Isn't this fun Jack?

I'm not JW. I don't need to "interprate". Jesus is God. Hell is everlasting. And JW's are spewing Satan's doctrines all over Christian forums!

Ah right...so you refuse to "handle the Word"...interesting...which means you don't believe God has hidden his wisdom.

Let's see, you don't believe Jesus is God? You don't believe Hell is everlasting? You don't believe Satan is alive? You're gonna have a lot of explaining to do on Judgment Day.

I'll take that answer as a no - you don't desire to know the hidden things of God.
Take care.

I certainly believe God's written Word, the Bible that seems to be what is hidden from you.

2 Corinthians 11
Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness,
