Some people can forgive, some can not. There by the grace of God go you and I. At times we forgive others and times we ask God for forgiveness and at times we want to forgive ourselves. If she has found the Lord her past life is not remembered by God, nor should it be remembered by you unless you want God to remember your sins. Forgiveness is a tenet of Christianity. Christ had mercy on us, what are we if we do not show mercy for others? We take but not give?

From there you have to follow your heart. Sometimes God puts people in our path to test our Character. What have you done to her life? Part of this Christian journey is about how we impact the lives of others. If she loves you, what have you done to the one that loves you? And will you ever deserve love again.

What do I have to forgive the sex worker for? She didnt do anything wrong to me.

I say praise the Lord that she repented and has been forgiven for her sins, but that's largely not my business. WHile I must live on earth in the natural and may or may not wed a girl again....I sure wont allow spoiled meat onto my plate. It's asking for trouble.

That's exactly how I feel. It has nothing to do with forgivenss.. The forgiveness for the sins is from God. Sex workers have done nothing to me. It's just my personal prefrence.

My wife had two kids when we got married, so I'm pretty sure she was not a virgin. The fact that I wasn't the only one wasn't a hangup to me; maybe I was too busy enjoying the gift that had been given to me to care that it wasn't brand new out of the box. The state of Florida did require both parties to get tested for STDs before they would issue a marriage license, though. I don't know if they still require that, but it would still be a good idea.

Because the Sweet Lady IS a gift, God's answer to a very specific prayer I prayed in the fall of 1983. While an older, divorced woman with children wasn't what I expected, I accepted God's surprise answer with gratitude. We'll celebrate our 40th anniversary later this month. That one worked out pretty good for us, I'd say.
