So, your Lutheran bible is not teaching the truth.

How do you know?

Its because there are many types of Spirits in the world.

Animals have spirits.
Unbelievers, never born again have a spirit.
Demons have a spirit "demonic spirits"
The Devil has a spirit. "The unholy spirit".

= Notice...... """GOD is A Spirit."""

So, why does a REAL Bible make the distinction of God's Spirit as "A" Spirit?
Its because a Real Bible, teaches God's Spirit as The Holy Spirit...("God is A.. Spirit") "A" "Spirit".....= The HOLY Spirit.

And that is not the same "spirit" as found in a Demon, or an Unbeliever, or The Devil.

So, your bible, the Lutheran version, is teaching that God's spirit is just the same as all the other spirits, including the Devil's.

Your bible teaches that "HE" was manifested in the Flesh.

Now, if you have never read a bible, and have never heard of Jesus before, and you read YOUR LUTHERAN Bible.....

Then when you read.. "HE, was manifested in the FLESH"... you would think.... "HE who" "who is the HE"?

And the reason you know that the ''HE" is GOD in the Flesh, = Jesus the virgin born "in the Flesh"....is because a REAL BIBLE that says..>"GOD was manifested IN THE FLESH"< taught you who the '"HE" is..
Your bible doesn't.
Actually no created being on earth currently has spirit, nor a spirit. At least not part of their physical makeup. You cannot access nor communicate with your spirit.

That was forbidden by the OT Covenant, by sentence of death.

Your spirit is with God in heaven. If it is not, then a person's spirit has become a demon, and part of the spiritual realm we are still forbidden to access.

Not sure why no one can understand the spiritual death Adam experienced, and has passed down to all his offspring. Spiritual death is not the death of the spirit, but being separated totally from the spiritual world.

Except for the submission to the Holy Spirit through the soul or mind. Which is part of the second birth.

The use of the word "spirit" found often throughout the Bible is concerning "air", or the ability to breath. That is physical, and has no connection to the spiritual part of creation.

Context is necessary when interpreting how the term spirit is used.

There are spirits out there. The only reason they exist is because every human has one at conception, but the spirit remains with God, until such a time one is reprobate, or past the point of redemption. The Second Coming will be the point in time since Adam disobeyed God where all the redeemed are connected to their spirit.

If all understood the true nature of a spirit, they would have no issue whatsoever if God is spirit or a spirit. GOD the Father is the one physically sitting on the GWT. Now can any one in this thread say that is a physical body or a spiritual body? Or a body at all? God has a spirit, called the Holy Spirit, now can you explain how that third person can live inside of each redeemed person, without that indwelling, actually being air? Is air physical or spiritual, or both?

To top it off, when the spirit is finally put on, we will shine like the sun. That is what Jesus showed the 3 disciples on the mount of Transfiguration.

Jesus put on a perfect permanent incorruptible physical body, without sin, so that on the Cross, he would be made sin for us, to physically suffer death, and a physical resurrection. Obviously he was able to have a spirit without always shining like a star.

Nor did Jesus' spirit witness corruption, became a demon, but was given to the father, until Jesus ascended Sunday morning with the entire body of OT redeemed out of Abraham's bosom. If the church actually taught Adam lost his spirit, as well as literally physically died, and went from a permanent incorruptible physical body to a temporal corruptible physical body, it would make more sense than all this theological nonsense out there. Redemption of the physical body cannot happen until the soul leaves this current body for God's permanent one. 2 Corinthians 5:1

"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

They all have a physical body in Paradise.

That word dissolved does not mean "return to dust". It is the release of a union between the soul and this body of death, so the soul is free to have a union with God's permanent incorruptible physical body in Paradise.

καταλύω. to dissolve, disunite (what has been joined together)

It means more than simply "destroy". You don't destroy the body when you leave. It was already dead and of death. Your soul is free of the union with death, to enter redemption and an union with a body of life.

Gen 2:7,

John 20:22

1 Corinthians 6:19

and..

"All who have not the spirit of Christ in them are none of God's"

and..

The born again are become "THE temple of the Holy Spirit"
The Holy Spirit is not you.

I posted no one has spirit nor is a spirit.

Having the Holy Spirit is something entirely different than what you posted.

There is only one type of spirit. The Holy Spirit is the template of being a son of God in God's image, which the soul is the image of God, the body the image of Jesus, and the spirit the image of the Holy Spirit.

We are spiritually dead meaning separated from our spirit. All human spirits are with God, unless they have changed into a demon. But a spirit is a spirit after the likeness of the Holy Spirit.

After the second birth, the Holy Spirit is supposed to have full control of your soul, and decision making process. Otherwise one is a servant to sin, and not in obedience to God.
