I've read the New Testament hundreds of times. But I can't understand the Gospel, because I don't have those spiritual eye's.

Then how can we all be wrong if you don't understand it? We understand it! You just totally contradicted yourself. Your argument is utterly invalid.

Since Christian's believe that without those spiritual eyes of the holy spirit, no-one can understand the Bible. It could be that I have read the Bible more than most Christian's. But that doesn't mean anything to them unless I acquire those spiritual eye's first. I did see that one coming, and realised it's better not argue semantics with a true believing eyeball Christian.

Maybe I should have been a little more specific in regard to rights for faith. I was actually detailing the problems I am faced with daily in Australia.

Well, give me an example of a day in your life in Australia.
Help me to understand the obstructions as to your rights to believe how you want to believe.
I was reading through the comments before I replied to this post.
Spiritual eyes come with time and a desire to see.
My first aha moment came many years after I became a christian.
And the word that opened that door to spiritual understanding was the word Bread.
Such a simple word. And yet that one aha moment opened a lot of other doors to understanding.
My spiritual eyes were opened. I started to understand the Bible in a whole new way.
Right now, as you read this post, I am breaking bread with you.
The bread is the words I speak and together we take the words into our minds and chew on them.
The words in the Bible are the bread of life, because in them contain truth.

Bread can have leaven in it, meaning it is puffed up, exagerated, filled with a lot of air.
And it can be unleavened meaning plain and sincere, truthful, to the point.

It may sound silly, but this one understanding lead to many more.
I started doing word searches. I would take a word and find all instances of it in the bible.
One word can mean many different things. Like Horses can mean swiftness or strength.

But you have to want to see it. No one can show you unless you are willing to unlock your mind.
It's not something that only some people can have. Everyone can see if they want to.
The secret is in the wanting.

If you don't want to, then why are you here ?
There is plenty of bread to go around... are you hungry?

Gospel means Good News.
The Good News is God is seeking reconciliation with his children..
He wants us to come home.
Have you ever read the story of the Prodigal son?
There are those christians who have been saved from the cares of this world and have devoted their lives to living the way God wants us to live and be happy. We are ever with him and he has given us all things. Peace, joy, love, mercy, forgiveness....
And there are those that live their whole lives not knowing that they also have been given their fair share.
But these have decided to go out on there own, live like the world, and putting aside all these things for money, sex, drugs, fame....
They get burned out. All these things that the world offers are empty. They aren't exciting anymore and eventually become a heavy burden.
In the case of the Prodigal son, he knew that His Father had enough to share with even the sevants that worked for him.
If he came back home perhaps his Father would have mercy on him and allow him to become as one of the workers.

The Gospel is... Our Father is waiting for us to come home.
But in order to go home, you must first believe there is a home to return to.
And our Father, our creator.. wants us to believe that he exists, so that we can return.

This is the Gospel in a nutshell.
Be reconciled with God.
Can you see it?

Do you feel some need to convince me to consider believing Jesus as the Messiah? It seems that's what you're doing. But I thought someone said we'd not going to be that way.

Hard to explain faith to someone who has doubts.
Sometimes you have to start at the ground level and work your way up.
So my questions to the OP would be..
What benefit is it to doubt?
What do you gain by doubting?
Who are you trying to impress with doubt?
Is it less cool to have faith?
Who's approval are you looking for one way or the other?
Do you care what other people think if you have faith?
What are you afraid of losing if you put doubt aside?
Why is being doubtful important?

I have faith not because someone says I should or shouldn't. Not because of what people may think.
I have faith because I choose to. My faith has been tried and it's true. The evidence of that, is that I still have my faith even after having been tried.
I know what it is to doubt. I know what it is to believe the world when it tells me the whole thing is a scam.
I checked it out, and found it wanting in the balance.
Doubting does not give me peace. It does not give me hope. It does not give me joy. It provides nothing solid to stand on.
It makes me feel like something is lacking. Something is missing. It makes me feel empty. And cynical, and uncaring.
Why would I want doubt, when I can have faith?

I could say that doubt is a emotional signal from our brain that is useful for warning us to check the facts about what we're being drawn into. Do you think we all have these unpleasant emotional reactions in common because they are wrong by nature? They have to be there for as much of a right reason as our pleasant emotional reactions are.

I think most people would take a lot of effort into meeting you where you are at... on your level and simply talking about how each side sees Jesus.

However... your attitude has consistently shown you have no interest in polite and civilized conversation.

For someone who claims to be 48... I find your method of communication to be quite child-like.

You came to us.... we did not come to you... Either you are here for DECENT communication or you are not... that is totally up to you.

I'm a 56 year old female. I live in Maine. I live a quiet life by myself in the countryside.
I'm heavy into politics. Geopolitical world events interest me.
I'm disabled from a blockage in my main artery which makes it difficult to walk.
I spend most of the time on the internet.
I have 8 cats. They keep me busy the rest of the time.
I don't travel much, only to the market a couple times a month.
I'm a good cook. My dad said so.. :)
I been divorced twice. I have 1 daughter and 1 grandson who is autistic and just turned 19.
I don't see them much because they live a few hours away.
I was a machine operator in the printing industry for over 20 years until they closed.
My ex drove truck from coast to coast. I was on the road with him for about 10 years.
I lived in Florida during that time until Irma hit in 2017 and washed that all away.
And here I sit, listening to C-Span and what's on the political agenda of the Biden Administration,
watching them try to kill us all.
I won't get jabbed and I don't wear a mask.. seeing covid is the "In" thing to talk about today..

So that pretty much sums up me.

I could say that doubt is a emotional signal from our brain that is useful for warning us to check the facts about what we're being drawn into. Do you think we all have these unpleasant emotional reactions in common because they are wrong by nature? They have to be there for as much of a right reason as our pleasant emotional reactions are.

I have LOTS of doubts. Just not about my Faith.
I doubt my car will make it to the store. It's a piece of crap but it's all I got.
I'm not rich so even taking it in for oil changes is challenging.
But it gets done anyways.
I doubt the government has our best interest in mind.
I doubt what I see on the TV is true and acurate news. I know what mockingbird media is all about.
I do not doubt we got hit with a biological weapon from China which was allowed to happen by all the governments in the world, in order to usher in their totalitarian one world governmment which believes less people is better for them.
I doubt the food they put on the shelves is healthy, but we all need to eat.
I doubt the air is clean with all the chemtrails they spray in it. But we all need to breathe.
I doubt the water, specially city water that they load with flouride to keep us dumbed down.
Thank goodness I have a well now, and don't rely on chemical based water, other than what is sprayed in it from the chemtrails.

But through all these doubts..
My faith is unshaken.

I am and have been living outside on the streets of QLD Brisbane for around about 2 years. I walk alone, and carry a small back pack with only the essentials I need for living with Brisbane's climate. I do get some R&R with some funds I have, but I can not live for long in a luxury box among other people in their luxury boxes.

Umm my brain needs sleep, but I have to wait around 11pm

This winter is seriously persistent, I feel regretful/stupid for shouting at the public about 4 months ago that this winter wouldn't end (Then joked about how I wouldn't even like it myself)

Just coming into fall here. I don't look forward to the winter at all.
I have a hard time shovelling the snow and last year we kept getting hit with 2 feet here, 3 feet there.
Propane is going up to about $5 a pound. My dad pays for the heating. It gets down below 0 here around December.
I try to keep the heat real low just enough that the water pipes don't freeze.
I have 8 (fur coats) cats that pig pile on me when I try to sleep at night, so there's that.
Does it snow in Australia?
What time is it there? It's 7:30 am here

I grew up in Boston in a big apartment building. I'm not a social person myself. I like living where I am now.
Only neighbors I have is a mile or so down the road. They are relatives and I don't even know them. lol
No one comes to visit except my dad. He is 86 and very hard headed. He can't walk very good or use his hands, so I usually help him shave.
I have to make sure he can handle his food ok. I'm not used to taking care of other people so I'm a bit clumsy.
10 years in a truck cab. Maybe 6' feet wide with the cabinets and maybe 3' deep for the bed. Like a twin bed for two adults lol.
Slept in a lot of truckstop parking lots and roadside rest areas.
Life isn't easy that's for sure.

When I was about 17 I met a guy. He had a motorcycle and played guitar. I didn't know at the time he was living at the half-way house around the corner. He was a recovering alchoholic. He was 9 years older than me. I was having problems with my parents about the right way to raise a baby.
I had mine when I was 14. And so, I felt things weren't fair so I ran away with this guy and left my baby with my parents.
We lived in a pickup truck for 2 years. He did a lot of drugs. So money for food was really scarce. I think my main meal was candy bars and mountain dew. And every now and then McDonalds would give us a couple burgers as they was closing.

Things we do when we're kids.. crazy..
I wanted to go home and see my daughter. He told me No. So I said see ya.
About a year later I met my first husband. He adopted my daughter (I believe for tax purposes) he wasn't much of a dad. In name only.
I stayed with him working in that printing company for 16 years. He was my supervisor. Made for interesting conversation at the dinner table.

Are your living conditions by choice or necessity?
I've lived both high and low. I prefer the low.
My dad tells me when he passes away I have to find another place to live.
So maybe I'll come to Australia and hang out with you in your box.
