Is the Bible the word of God?

A bone is a relic. Have you never heard of an ossuary?? The preservation of bones of the dead is an ancient practice in Judaism and Christianity. Nobody’s cutting anything off. Don’t know about the “cult of Mary – but the Catholic Church teaches that God assumed Mary bodily into Heaven. She...

Is the Bible the word of God?

Wow - you're more ignorant than I thought. Gnosticism was a REAL problem in the Early Church. Heretics like YOU have plagued the Church from the beginning . . . YOU are a nothing but a 2-but LIAR and I’ll prove it. The Douay-Rheims version is taken straight from the Latin Vulgate – the...

Is the Bible the word of God?

Uhhh, NOT quite . . . Jesus told Saul.Paul, "...Why are you persecuting ME". In Ephesiansm, Paul explains that the Church - not the individual - is the fullness of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23). The Church - not the individual - is the pilllar and foundation of truth (1 Tim. 3:15). The Church IS...

Is the Bible the word of God?

And only a noon-Ignorant student of Scripture knows that Paul was talkiung abvout the Gnostic heretics of his day (1 Tim. 4:3) and NOT the Catholic Church - of which HE was a part. Do your homework, son . . . Gee - then what's the excuse for the clergy in YOUR Protestat sects?? How...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

You quote Scripture without actually understanding what it means. Jesus didn’t mean that there is a sin that cannot be forgiven. NOTHING is impossible for God (Matt. 19:26). The sin against the Holy Spirit that Jesus is talking about in is the refusal to heed His guidance to the truth. YOUR...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

Apparently, you don’t understand what He meant by FINAL impenitence . . . Good - now, show me the verse that says, “And YOU will determine where they will spend eternity” . . . Yes, it is and if they repent and are Baptized, they will be saved. If they remain unrighteous and never repent...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit that Jesus spoke of is FINAL impenitence. The refusaly to heed the Holy Spirit to the end. Unti you die - you have a chance to repent and be saved (John 3:16, Actsa 2:39). YOU did. I originally posted that we can only judge a person’s fruit but NOT their...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

Just because sonrone is on a path to Hell doesn't mean they will end up there. ANYBODY can repent and be saved. A Christian has NO Biblical permission to dictate who is in Hell.

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

The INCONVERTED unrighteous. The UNREPENTED unrighteous. Jesus gives everybody on earth the chance to repent and be converted (John 3:16, Acts 2:38).

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

And YOU try to use your common sense and marginal ability to discern Scripture. Instead of cherry-picking verses out of context – read ALL of the Bible in context. WRONG. They are DESTINED for damnation – IF they don’t repent. EVERY single person on earth has a chance to repent and be saved...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

John 3:36 isn’t saying that those who are living a damnable life have NO chance of repenting and being born again. Yes, but you CAN be born again here on earth – even if it’s with your last breath. Apparently, you never heard of the Thief on the cross . . .
  12. BreadOfLife

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

CORRECTION: A sinful person is not damned until they die. As long as a person is alive – they have a chance to repent. This is the lesson from the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard (Matt. 20:1-16). They may be heading for damnation IF they continue a life of willful sin – but NOBODY knows...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

And the one who is right is never concerned with petty things like text formatting . . . The Bible condemns your arrogant view that you can judge a person’s heart – and I’ve proven that quite amply with Scripture (Matt. 7:1-5, Matt. 7:1-5, James 4:12, Rom. 2:1-3), Gal. 6:1). Only GOD knows...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

YOU need to learn that you cannnot possubly decide who is in Hell; becaause you don't know a person's heart. You have NO idead if tose people on your list have repented. You are NOT the judge or jury of anyone's soul - NOR are you clairvoyant. Be concerned with the condition of your own soul...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

That’s what MOST people say when they’ve lost an argument . . . No - we are NOT called to judge a person’s heart. We are only called to judge their FRUIT. You don’t know what somebody’s personal relationship with God. Only GOD knows the heart . . . (Psa. 44:21, Jer. 17:9-10, 1 Sam. 16:7, Luke...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

You said it yourself – they condemn THEMSELVES. YOU are not their judge. You have NO idea who has repented in the last few moments of their life. Salvation is available to ALL at ANY point in their life. Don’t be so quick to condemn anybody because the Bible tells us that WE will be judged by...

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

You can most certainly judge his ACTIONS – his fruit. You cannot judge or condemn him his soul. This is ONLY for God. You can pray for him – but NOT condemn him.
  18. BreadOfLife

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

WRONG. As a Christian, you are only allowed to rightly-judge a person’s fruit – NOT their hearts. YOU don’t get too condemn anybody’s soul (Matt. 7:1-2).
  19. BreadOfLife

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

We cannot accept sinful WAYS. This does NOT give us any right to judge their souls. The Bible clearly differentiates between rightly-judging a person’s deeds (ways - John 7:24) – and judging their souls (hearts - Matt. 7:1-2).

Whether A Person’s Soul Goes to Heaven or Hell is for God to judge and not others humans to judge

Wanna bet?? Ignatius of Antioch was a First century Bishop who Was a lifelong student of the Apostle John. He was martyred in Rome in the early part the 2nd century. He is considered one of the most important Apostolic Fathers in Church history. YOU can deny this all you want – but it is a...
