    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

I answered that when I said "Look at the man who is walking in the light/Spirit. Is he sinning? No."

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Read Romans 8:9. Is that person alive?

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

You are misinterpreting "body." Think about a popular singing group that write their own songs, like The Beatles. Michael Jackson bought the rights to all of the Beatles "body" of work. Jackson didn't own the bodies of John, Paul, George and Ringo; Michael bought their whole body of works -...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Look at what John says about 1 John 1. "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin." 1 John 2:1a So you see someone taught you to twist his words. 1 John 1:7 is a Christian. That verses 1-5 and 7 are all you need to study after 1 John 1:9, how to become a Christian...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Study the Word. Look at the man who is walking in the light/Spirit. Is he sinning? No. Yet Jesus is still cleansing Him from sin. What sin? 1 John 1:7. Again, study the Word, and check your conscience. Numbers 15:22-29. 1 John 3:4, Romans 14:23 "whatever is not from faith is sin."

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

For the first 30 years of my life I went to church and learned a lot in the Bible. But I wasn't saved because the baptism of the Holy Spirit was never talked about. After I heard about the baptism of the Holy Spirit I sought it for 6 years and finally was filled in 1977. The difference is like...

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

What's important is to be born again of the Spirit. Period. Jesus will finish what He started then.

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

But our best is not good enough. That's the point of Isaiah 64:6 Our own righteousness is like filthy rags. Our ineptness at righteousness is all we have to offer on our own. IOW that is no repentance at all.

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

Paul no longer had sin IN him when he wrote that.

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

How do you know if you are abiding in Him, if you don't know what the criteria is? We first become righteous before we can become perfect. So what makes us KNOW that we are righteous as the first step?

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

First off, Jesus made it clear to Nicodemus that we MUST be born again. IOW free from the flesh which causes willful mortal sins. Mortal means death, so going from eternal death to eternal life. Romans 8:8-9 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But you are not in the...

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

The point is that even AFTER we have been born again of the Spirit, we will still commit minor sins not unto death. If you don't recognize what TYPE of sin we are talking about in 1 John 3, you will still consider yourself a sinner when we are actually children of God and walking in the light...

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

Those that are unknown to me, yes. I have made it a habit to never do anything against my conscience. Paul made that clear to me to always live with a clear conscience, so I do. It is so simple. It is also the way to abide in Him, and He in me. How about you. Same question.

    Do you speak against "Sinlessness"?

There are two categories of the unsaved, and two of the saved in Scripture. Revelation 22:11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” The two of the unsaved are...

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

Yes, in the Bible a mortal sin is against a commandment of God, and a venial sin is an action showing an immaturity of a fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Peter 1:5-7.

    I'll have to. :)

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

Back in 1977 having gone to church for 30 years, I was having an affair with a married man, thus committing adultery. That is a sin unto death. I tried and tried to break it off from him but kept failing. It was then that I had an epiphany about repentance. We cannot turn away from sin in our...

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

Verse 4 is important as the context of chapter three, talking about breaking the LAWS of God (sins unto death) or "mortal" sins, because the desire to break those laws is what Jesus in verse 5 cleansed out of our nature. We now have the desire to be righteous as in verse 10, the opposite of...

Is it possible not to sin anymore?

1 John 5:16-17 16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is...
