    Is anyone else a Seer?

God has told me what to pray according to John 15:7. He answers every one of them. The first time He told me what to pray it was for someone else about her daughter. The next week at church she told me my prayer was answered exactly as I prayed.

    Is anyone else a Seer?

Turning water into wine is not on any list of gifts of the Spirit, but we do not question Jesus doing it. And He did the same type of thing for me also in California. They both would be considered miracles. Peter, to me it is a wonder and has proven beneficial to me personally.

    Is anyone else a Seer?

There you are! I haven't seen you in awhile. I'm not in trouble. I am secure in Christ. But thanks for your well meant words.

    Is anyone else a Seer?

Matthew 6:23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! I have no idea. I know what sin popped in my mind, but I can't say. The clear instruction was to let him know his sin had found him out...

    Is anyone else a Seer?

No, about supernatural gifts of the Spirit.

    Is anyone else a Seer?

This was in Tennessee where I now live. But I was filled with the Spirit in a church of the same denomination in California. He kept trying to say this was unscriptural and said there are no scriptures to back it up. I wasn't there to argue, but I find it funny that one scripture that does...

    Is anyone else a Seer?

There were seers in the Old Testament called prophets, but the word "seer" is not used in the New Testament for prophets. I just heard about this about 5 months ago at a country church in their adult Sunday school I like that meets for about an hour before their church service. They said they...

Jesus is the way, but how many ways are there to Jesus?

Through Repentance. We know this because of John the Baptist preaching Repentance to make straight the way of the Lord.

    the New Nature

What is really the case is the gifts are given by God like the parable of the talents. We may start out with one or two, but a true Christian seeks relationship with God, and the more they seek, the more gifts are added unto them. But those who are false teachers usually do not have any fruit...

    the New Nature

I disagree as Peter like Paul is referring to what they were before (and this is the key) they "escaped the pollutions of the world." How? The only way possible, the blood of Jesus cleansed them from their sin. That means their nature was cleansed and given eternal life. That, my friend, is...

Every branch that bears fruit is pruned. - John 15

Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." When we repent of our sin nature that causes us to want to sin, and want to be cleansed, Jesus first takes away the sins unto death called lawlessness and makes us clean. The...

    the New Nature

That is not what I asked you for. You said, "Jesus said that some sins are greater" and I asked you for where that is found in Scripture. Eek That is soooooooooooooooooooooo creeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy when you talk like you are not Behold and have a multiple personality syndrome. 101 does that all the...

    the New Nature

What do you think of this scripture: 2 Peter 2:20-22 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would...

    the New Nature

Can you spend a minute looking up that verse for me. I would like to have it. I was baptized 3 times before I was born again of the Spirit. Then a couple months later He spoke to me and told me, "Now, get water baptized." A mortal wound would be a wound that caused their death. So that is...

    the New Nature

8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of...

    the New Nature

In all our conversations and debates I don't think we've ever discussed if you have been given any supernatural gifts of the Spirit such as speaking in tongues, or supernatural interpretation of tongues. What gifts do you have seeing as we all have at least one. Mortal sins are in the NT as...

    the New Nature

Yes, we still have free will and are able to quench the Spirit. The key is abiding in Christ for both freedom from mortal sin and maturing of the fruit of the Spirit. How to not become caught up in heresies is knowing the Word of God.

How do you interpret Romans 8:9? Do you believe we can go in and out of the Spirit?

    the New Nature

Good post Randy. What I would like to add is I see two different uses for the words soul and flesh in the New Testament. When God breathed life into Adam, Adam became a living soul or person who also had a soul. He was made of flesh and bones, but Paul then says in Romans 8:9 that we are not in...

    Understanding : Acts 2:38

No, from within where He lives. The best way I can describe it is He interrupts my own thoughts with His words. One time I asked God a question in prayer, and He spoke immediately the answer to my question.
