Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

I believe Moses met Jesus in the burning bush I believe Jesus called out to the people. and said come near me, I am the alpha and omega, and the father (father god) and his spirit (holy spirit) have sent me I believe God (plural) created man in their image. No actually it does not. Judaism...

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

because it was written by men. It is not inspired And the catholic church ruled the church for well over 1000 years. and burned any form of anything that went against their theology. why would we go to uninspired writings which are questionable at best, and not the inspired words of God that...

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

Well I understand you do not want to discuss the word. You want to be like the jews and use history to cause Jesus to contradict himself. Like catholics and jews alike. when people use history instead of the word. it usually is because the word would not support their belief

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

And? Did you know the trinity was in the OT? I am not worried about people who quote some creed. I am worried about what the word of God says

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

Actually yes it would. If Jesus is God. and as we have seen, the HS (a seperate entity) is God. well the trinity is confirmed. It does not matter what historical words of men say.

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

But your using a flawed history. The Jews tried this, and crucified Christ because they used flawed history and not the word of God

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

I love history and am trying NOT to make the same mistake. by relying on uninspired history. and relying on the word of God
  12. Eternally Grateful

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

That's because we have precedence Jewish history would prove Jesus was a Hypocrite. a blasphemer (he called himself God) and a false teacher. so why would we want to risk making the same mistake?
  13. Eternally Grateful

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

again, what about what the word says Any creed is not inspired. I would hope we are not relying on some creed for our doctrinal truth.. or am I missing something?

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

I would say if you think Christ was a mere mortal man, or an angel. and not God. You have an issue.. Unless he was God as he claimed to be multiple times.. He could not have paid for the sin of the world

Barna Poll: Most Americans - Including Church Members - Reject the Trinity

I think if we look., the majority of Americans are no longer Christian (where it most likely used to be the majority of americans were) so this does not surprise me any
