    Assurance of salvation:

I rather not get into that....that's not important. It's the scriptures and what I have been saying that is.

    Assurance of salvation:

If what Jesus said once is important and shouldn't be ignored, then what would it mean if Jesus said something more than once?

    Assurance of salvation:

But my point is, one's reward will be bassed on how well the indivdual have been productive in their gifts. So if the indivdual was not productive in the use of their gifts, he or she will not be in the kingdom of God. That was the point of Jesus' parable. To be shut out means to not be in the...

    Assurance of salvation:

That was a private conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus....that's not preaching. Jesus never mentioned born again after that. Born again, is not the gospel Jesus said He was sent to preach.

    Assurance of salvation:

The point is, Jesus never preached born again and neither did the aposcles.....it's not the gospel.
  6. verzanumi24

    Assurance of salvation:

Being born again, is what God does to the indivdual, but that indivdual is required to do good works.

    Assurance of salvation:

That's besides the point, which is every gift that people have was given to them by Jesus. As for my faith as you call it, I don't go by definitions that didn't come from God's word. So bassed on God's word said, I'm a brother of Jesus and which makes me a son of God.

    Assurance of salvation:

I'm not talking about what Jesus did, I'm talking about what Jesus commanded His people to do.

    Assurance of salvation:

First thing: Jesus only used born again once and it was to a pharisee in private at night. Secondly: Jesus never use the term born again christian. Jesus never refered to His people as christians and God the Father never called His people christians. It was the pagans that use the word...

    Assurance of salvation:

Doing good works involves the use of one's gifts......everybody has gifts or tallent that they were born with, because when Jesus left for Heaven, He gave gifts to all people. Ephesians 4:8 (MontgomeryNT) 8 Thus it is said, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts to...

    Assurance of salvation:

The Holy Spirit doesn't force the person......the indivdual have to make the discision to take action. This is why the scripture say that everyone will be rewarded according to their works. It doesn't say one will be rewarded according to the works of the Holy Spirit.

    Assurance of salvation:

Born again Christian is not a term that Jesus or the early disciples/Church use that to discribe themselves. But that's for another topic. Now, back to the topic at hand. I didn't say or implied that God's people were required to work for their salvation. My point was, and to which the...

    Assurance of salvation:

My point was, and I thought the scriptures that I presented was clear and it is, that Jesus commads His people to do good works.....that's the purpose for Him giving people gifts. The people of God should be preaching the kingdom of God and teaching those who believe what Jesus taught. Preaching...

    Assurance of salvation:

Nope. If you read my reply in it's entirerty and understood matthew 25 you would see that if one has not been profitable to Jesus, such a person will not make it. But unfortunitly, most christians have been mislead to believe that it's a free ride. But Jesus did what He needed to do, so we also...

    Assurance of salvation:

The assurance is based on being obedient to doing what Jesus commaned. John 10:27-28 (KJV) 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. To follow Jesus...

    Built On The Wrong Apostle

All human beings by virtue of the fact that we are human automatically makes us leaders. But what Jesus said and did shows and tells us what a true leader should be.....one who serves. So since all are leaders, all can and should serve and serve each other. It's deeper than what it might seem...

    Built On The Wrong Apostle

The law of Moses was only required up to the time of John the baptist. But after Jesus was crusified and rose from the dead, it was no longer needed. The law of Moses was obsolete before it was even intruduced. Many of the laws and rituals that were required under the Old Covenant actually...

    Built On The Wrong Apostle

The promist God made to Abraham was not bassed on race, but on faith. Galatians 3:29 (ASV) 29 And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise. Galatians 3:6-18 (ASV) 6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness. 7 Know...

    The Holy Spirit

The last place that many christians go to for an answer is the Bible. The Spirit of God The Spirit of God or the Holy Spirit is God in action; whenever the Holy Spirit is mentioned, it means that God is doing something….God would not be God if He could not act. Here are eight examples 1...
