    Intro and Question

^ I don't view Jesus as being too different from, say, Moses, but Jesus is very important when it comes to the new birth, because he was the first to be reborn and it is because of him that the possibility became so open for all, after Adam and Eve failed in their task by sinning. The Holy...

    Intro and Question

If this was aimed at me, I like the gospel of Thomas, it's probably my favourite gospel, but I generally haven't read the gnostic texts. I don't know how close I am to gnostic beliefs, but I don't identify with or try to adhere to gnosticism.

Born again Christans DO NOT SIN!

God and the angels spoke to the prophets. I speak to angels too and they've been teaching me things. If the prophets who wrote the bible are a source of divine information, then so am I. However the church became corrupt before the gospels and letters of Paul had spread. They kept much but...

Born again Christans DO NOT SIN!

Well the person I was responding to seemed to be suggesting that the bible is the only proper source for this stuff. Though they did find my post interesting. And yes I am new. Just trying to get the picture at the moment for how my ideas will be received here. Often it's the Christians who I...

Born again Christans DO NOT SIN!

Has it occurred to you that there are sources of information on this topic other than the bible? To answer your question, I've read most of it. I've read the gospels about 10 times each. Just missing some of the history books. The leavened through bit comes from a parable in the gospels. I...

    Once Saved Always Saved

If you've attained the new birth, you have eternal life. You don't lose this state. Ever.

Born again Christans DO NOT SIN!

Ending sin takes time. You can't just do it over night, although you can commit to doing it. The born again becomes basically sinless when they become "leavened through". This occurs decades after being born again. It's not only the born again that go to heaven. Moses, for example, went to...

Do You Believe What The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse Represent Has Begun Already On Earth?

I believe that revelations was primarily written about the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. However it applies at various times throughout history. It certainly applies today. Don't try to match everything in the prophecy up, just look for general themes, or try to find what actually fits without...

    Attraction

With this, think of the 10 commandments. Lust applies to adultery, meaning to spoil (breaking the marriage covenant, but also degrading a person) as well as coveting, meaning to sneakily go after what is another's, not loving them like yourself, in this case viewing them as a sex object. It is...

Is Telling A Lie Ever A Good Thing?

Lying is not a sin; rather lying AGAINST someone is a sin. There are many good reasons to lie such as protecting yourself or someone else, or even to play a friendly trick, test someone or lead to a truth that can't be stated at first. So ask if there is a victim of your lie. Will you regret...

    Do we need prophets, today?

There are still things to prophesy about. Prophets play an important role, but in a world lacking light, we don't know who to turn to. Why not see the truth for yourself? Can't you judge the righteousness of a man, and his capacity for sound prophecy? Let not the presence of the false prevent...

    Intro and Question

Ok cool, I will post on whatever catches my attention. I will try to refrain from confrontation, but I will mention that I often do become confrontational when I catch someone greatly sinning. I am very indignant. Got kicked from a few facebook groups recently. Will post my views in a fitting...

    Intro and Question

Thanks for the replies guys, Just still confused on what the answer is. Can I be posting in Christian only boards, given that I don't adhere to the mission statement but I do call myself Christian? I'm making a point about how my views, which are in line with those of Jesus, ostracised me from...

    Intro and Question

Ok, so am I to understand that belief that Jesus and ONLY Jesus being "The Son of God" is a "close-handed" issue, and thus my rejection of this point, on the grounds that it goes against the 10 commandments and is flat out untrue, is regarded as making me, according to this website, not a...

    Intro and Question

Justified through myself? What on earth do you mean? I am 'justified' by my relationship with God. I have been reborn through the holy spirit. Have you not read in John that we are all given the opportunity to become children of God by being born again? As for the point of Christ, your...

    Intro and Question

I believe that we are all called to be children of God by attaining the new birth. Jesus was the first to attain the new birth, so in a sense he is "the" son, in the sense of being the firstborn child. In truth, I am a son of God too, and so are millions of others on earth and many more in heaven.

    Intro and Question

Hi, I've decided to join this forum. I am a follower of Yahweh, and friend of Jesus. The question I have is: I do not believe that Jesus is literally the same as Yahweh. So I believe in attaining Christhood for each individual believer. I do believe that Jesus was the Messiah. I believe that...
