  1. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

"He took [Abraham] outside and said, 'Look up at the heavens and count the stars - if indeed you can count them.' Then he said to him, 'so shall your offspring be.'"- Gen. 15:5 “ Hmmmm! It doesn't say God promised Mary any "sapiritual offspring" at any time in her future like he did with...

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Sorry, but Israel (as the mother) was only mentioned in one commentary and that was about "Israel- the true Jewish church" meaning that it was of both Jews and Gentiles. Any mention of Mary was rapidly dismissed as "unreasonable." Yet all 10 of these commentators were solid on the word "mother"...
  3. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

WOW! GOOD JOB! I don't recall seeing those verses in Jermiah.
  4. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

That theory is just a laughable as the previous one of Israel is!
  5. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

God's people have aways been believers in Christ. No "nation" on planet earth is going to go to heaven as a whole because that would have to include the unbelievers along with believers in Christ. It just is not the way God does things.
  6. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

And which one of the apostles said that? How come John did not include it in his 3 books that was written looooong after Mary would have been dead? That whole theory is laughable!
  7. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

No it is not Israel. These are the ONLY 3 verses in the entire book of Revelations that has the word "Israel" in it but there is not reference to "Israel" at all in chapter 12. Rev 2:14...But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak...

Why do Catholics adore, worship and deify Mary so much?

amigo is not demonstrating ignorance regarding Catholicism. Many of us have been in the Catholic church have found it to be a very "cold" church despite all the glitter, statute, stained glass windows, traditions that are heretical, confessions to priest that have no God-given power to forgive...
  9. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

You have that twisted as usual. Jesus was not speaking to Mary when He said that and you know it. If that was meant to be taken literally, we would all still be alive on planet earth today! Good grief Charlie Brown!
  10. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Well she is not Enoch or Elijah so therefore she is dead. John was the last of the apostles, if Mary had been translated into heaven I kinda think John would have noticed she was suddenly absent.

Why do Catholics adore, worship and deify Mary so much?

Wow! that's pretty good! Keep me posted. Did you read the first page. There is one line in that first page that grabbed me instantly and had to think it through. It was pretty powerful. It reminded me of an incidence when I saw a girl that had a T-shirt on and on the back of it was written "God...
  12. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Mary is not satans adversary. Mary is dead. The "universal Christian church" is satans adversary.
  13. Moriah's Song

Why do Catholics adore, worship and deify Mary so much?

There is a booklet that is considered to be a classic called "The Knowledge of the Holy" by A.W. Tozer. It was printed in the '60s and I think it might still be available through Christian book distributers in Peabody, Ma. It truly is worthy of the name. Once you started reading from the first...
  14. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

You left out a couple of important verses.... Rom 11:25,26 Lest you be wise in your own conceits, I want you to understand this mystery, brethren: a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles come in, and so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, "The...
  15. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

That would be a reference that can be said of the Pharisees and the Saducees at the time of Christ. They would be those that Jesus condemend but his remnant always existed and was the "church in the wilderness." Look up that term and you will find it there. I am not making the term up. It is in...
  16. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

Yes! It is the OT "church in the wilderness" in addition to the Act 2 pentecost that opened the door wide for all people, Jew and Gentile would continue as the "universal Christian church" ----- the true "people of God." God had a plan that started in the Garden of Eden and it did not stop...
  17. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

But "the woman" has always been "the bride/the church."
  18. Moriah's Song

Christians are not under the New Covenant

The reason you can't understand verse 25 is because of the term "ISRAEL." Look it up in your Bible; Israel was always "a people" - not a political nation. Those true Israelites/Jews were the OT remnant until the Day of Pentecost when God opened the door for the Gentiles even wider than it...
  19. Moriah's Song

Why do Catholics adore, worship and deify Mary so much?

Are we your servants? We have to look up most of the verses without the text that you put up. Now you want us to go back to look up post for you too?
  20. Moriah's Song

Why do Catholics adore, worship and deify Mary so much?

Yeah it did! You just didn't get the message!
