    Calling all Law Keepers.

Blind to the Truth more like. The Truth is the lamb has already died and He doesn't offer sacrifice twice and He died for ALL. Once for ALL. Done deal! Hebrews 10:10, And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Get it, got it, good...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Of course His words count, but they had a time and a place and a season and Jesus isn't walking around, in the sand, in His sandals anymore. Many of us see Him as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords with the sharp sword coming out of His mouth. The redemptive work has been done, it is finished...

And you're a tough nut to crack but it isn't my job to crack you, it's the Holy Spirit's job.

Ah yes, that old chestnut, it sure doesn't take long for them to come out of the woodwork. Take the beautiful, life-giving scriptures posted and change the subject to prove the verses wrong but guess what? It doesn't prove the verses wrong. We cannot take the judgment for sins off Jesus and...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

I responded in spiritual matters, not worldly matters. Yes, I pay taxes and follow the rules of the road and the rules at work and whatever rules there are that will throw me in jail or not throw me in jail if I break em, but there is that niggly voice in my head, "rules are made to be...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Galatians 3:10, For all who rely on the works of the law, are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Galatians 3:13, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written...

She isn't here to answer questions, she's here to accuse.

And the only point from you comes from your finger.

    Calling all Law Keepers.

You missed the point, as you always do.

    Calling all Law Keepers.

The love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, yes and gone are the days of expecting something in return.

Only if you want to live a fulfilled life that Jesus wanted you to have and even if you don't eat, you're still His. The hunger will wear you down eventually but once you start eating the green grass that is so delicious, it's hard to stop and why would you want to?

Nothing wrong with sitting around watching tv all day, catching up on all your favorite shows and flower buying means you expect something in return, yes?
  13. Armadillo

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Absolutely but when the focus is on Jesus and not on yourself, it's much easier.

Maybe the biggest difference is some will have faith in Jesus while others have the faith of Jesus and if you have faith in Jesus you need to take up the slack but if you have the faith of Jesus, there is no slack to take up.

    Tree of Life

Yes, mixing meat and milk is mixing law and grace and Jesus is our foundation, not ourselves.
  16. Armadillo

    Tree of Life

Ah yes, the seed must fall into the ground and die or it won't bring much fruit and if one dies daily it means something is still alive and how can that be so when His death is our death.

    Calling all Law Keepers.

I can only treat people with respect by knowing how much God loves me and can only forgive others by knowing how much I have been forgiven. Sometimes, I forget this and don't love and forgive as I should but Jesus is the fulfillment of the law, not me and He will work in me what needs to be...

Once the "inside" is complete, it will show up on the "outside" and that is the work of the Holy Spirit and if the Holy Spirit doesn't get the credit than you are just an external and an internal Christian of your own making.

They are like the Pharisees and block the way to God.
