The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

I differentiate between Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God is omnipresent so no one can argue against Jesus currently being on earth, but I try to follow the wording that the scriptures use and that is that Jesus is seated at the right hand of God until His enemies are made His footstool. I suppose...

I’m not, the world is the planet, that’s where the field was. Is it really that difficult for you? Wrong! In Matthew 13:37 the word “sowing” <4687> is a present tense verb, so we know the Son of man was sowing in His field when He spoke those words, prior to the cross. Wrong again, this is why...

I’m talking about the phrase “the field is the world”. That statement was made prior to the cross, when the sowing took place. If you think that meant that Jesus had possession of the entire world prior to the cross then you need to provide the verses that show that. I showed you Psalm 2:8...

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

Jesus sowed on this planet, not in heaven, which is why the parable describes the field as the world. In Matthew 13:37 the word “sowing” <4687> is a present tense verb, so we know the Son of man was sowing in His field when He spoke those words. He was physically on the planet at that time...

Here’s the thing, we know those under the burden of the old covenant were allowed to continue in their practices by the apostles. That fits the parable where the wheat allowed the tares to grow together until a 70AD harvest took place.

No, under the new covenant only believers can enter the kingdom. I’m a believer and have entered the kingdom. You have to have two kingdoms in order to get the unsaved into the kingdom before they finally get removed at a future harvest.

Let me ask you this, in Matthew 13:28-30 the servants are instructed to not gather up the tares lest they root up the wheat also. Should Christians have not fought against Hitler, should they have wanted to let him grow together until the harvest?

Right, you need to have two separate kingdoms of God to make this parable work for the Amil position.

In post #6 you have the tares entering the kingdom when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord. The tares are sown in His field. Does Jesus loose possession of His field then regain it again?

So pre mills actually think when they come down to this earth after a rapture, their stuff left behind will still be there?

If you don’t want to accept the reason given in that verse then don’t. I’m not going to try to convince you of what is clearly stated in that verse.

Understanding the parable that way creates the problem of there being no reasonable explanation for how the tares get into the kingdom.

And for you to assume that parable has to be about you is a very arrogant position to take.

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

When we carefully consider what the parable was talking about there are no issues. Problems only arise when we try to make the parable about ourselves or the church age.

Right and once we see that there was a harvest in 70AD we get more scriptures that agree with each other. Well, I agree, but the closer an interpretation is to the facts of a parable the more accurate it becomes.

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

The end of the world, as taught by Christ, separates the wicked from the just at the harvest, and it is coming for you.

No, the world is referring to the location where this parable takes place. Satan drew a third of the stars from heaven. We know this parable is not referring to Revelation 12. Right, Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation...

Matthew 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Satan sowing through out time doesn’t fit the parable, he went his way after sowing the tares.

So pre mills actually think when they come down to this earth after a rapture, their stuff left behind will still be there?

We are told the specific reason that He had not yet ascended to the Father. That was the reason Mary wasn’t allowed to touch Him. After Jesus ascended to the father, which took place just after He arose, people were allowed to physically touch and to cling to Him. Because He had to be...
