We can pray and ask GOD for justice when it is warranted. But we as the church are to mete out mercy not justice. Justice and enforcing of laws is not our mandate......it was given to us to show the mercy of Christ, not His justice. Justice/judgment is for the Lord to mete out, which He often does using the governments of this world, as well as natural events, like earthquakes, hurricanes, disease, etc. Israel under the Law was about justice.....the enforcing of laws through penalties.......but the new covenant is about mercy. Mercy triumphs over justice. Jesus said if we live by the sword (justice) we will die by the sword (justice)....do we want God's justice for ourselves, which we all deserve, or do we want to remain in His mercy and live?
Want to make America "great again"? Well what made her "great" in the first place? It was righteousness that brought earthly blessings of God. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin brings a reproach. That is bible, God's word. Do you believe the bible at all?
You are missing the point with all this, brother. Nobody here wants globalism or communism, but the problem is the church and believers are getting too caught up with these worldly concerns and not staying in its own lane. That is a snare and a deception. We are being tempted by all these worldly problems to trust in and bank on the arm of the flesh instead of in God.......which we need to not succumb to. Trials and problems are called temptations. We need to look at the reasons why blessing is being removed from our respective nations, why evil is threatening to take over. It is the LORD who is threatening/warning to give the west over to the evil (and HE is the one we need to fear and give glory to, not to deluded and evil men or political parties). This is just like He did with Israel of old and for the same reasons. The reasons are not political, they are spiritual. The political situation is just a symptom of a deeper problem, a spiritual one. Repentance is the only thing that can spare the west from judgment, otherwise we will find that we have fled from a lion only to meet with a bear.

This is about American power politics and nothing else. I argued the same against George Bush and his illegal war against Iraq in 2003. When Obama came into power I was going to judge him on what he would do against Iran, he failed miserably. When Trump came to power in 2016 the first thing he did was to cancel the deal Obama and the EU made with Iran, excellent TRUMP decision.
You can't help you are born in the USA but as a citizen you have to deal with the political decisions your leaders have taken in the past putting themselves in power by the words of Robert Kennedy saying --- it's our God given right to rule this world ---, military bases around the globe, NATO=USA and USA=NATO, nothing happens without consent of POTUS. Maybe you remember PNAC? etc.
Point being, don't take political criticism personal, or as Rumsfeld sarcastically once said -

I watched a vid yesterday where Jim Lampley talked of his good friend who just passed away, George Foreman. Ironically, Jim wrote a book that is coming out just now about Big George's biggest achievement entitled, "It happened." The book delves into how Foreman regained the title at 45 years of age. Lampley cried several times talking about George.
Why does sports mean that much to people? I have no doubt that much that happens in politics is like sports mentality of "us winning and they losing."

That's good news. But it is simply a result of the vast cuts everywhere else. He has also cut funding to food stamps, Medicare, VA hospitals, Social Security....etc, etc, etc ....things American tax payers have a right to because they TOOK our money to fund these things in the first place.
If he was on the up and up, he should give people the good things that they paid for. Defund the murder of babies, but why take away people's livelihoods?? It's not the goodness of his heart that motivates defunding PP.

This thread shows how deeply divided Christians are over God working through one among the people (Trump) to do his will. That Trump would rise to power was prophecied in the 1960's and 1990's but different prophets of God.
As God's will comes to manifest, there are many Christians who rail against it. Not that Trump is a prophet but an agent of the Most High. I suspect this has always been the reaction from the people of those God anoints.
