Recently, God thought I should watch a movie titled, “Have a Little Faith,“ and I am glad He did.

The story follows the faith journeys of a number of people, with excellent lessons along the way for them and us.

An intriguing question was posed at one point: after you die, if you had 5 minutes with God, what would you ask Him?

Well, I am still unsure with what that would be. Only 5 minutes?

Unsettled Biblical or theological questions?
Unsolved history or science questions?
Questions about the future?

Anyone have a ready, burning question or two?

Blessings.

Surely we can ask God anything we want now - I have asked him loads of questions over the years, isn’t our prayer life a conversation with God, why would I wait until I had died !

I've asked Him many questions in prayer over the years. Some I got answers to. Most I did not. Which ones were important? I can't remember.

Yes , same with me. I have found that often the answer will come with an inner peace to leave certain things with Him. Things that would go round and round in my head would actually settle and I would find that I no longer needed the answer.
Other answers Have come randomly , often days after actually asking and deep inside I would have a measure of understanding and knowing.

My 5 minutes with God after death....would be me running into his arms and saying at last I am home ,my human life is no more....I have a new journey ahead, ...I can’t say that I’m looking forward to the death of my body, as I’m a coward when it comes to physical pain...I just hope and pray that it’s quick or that I die in my sleep.....I long to see my Father in his full Glory....mind Blowing!

I think I might ask…in the perspective of year timeframe God established For manKIND;

How many years passed between His creation of Earth and His Creation of Adam?

Regarding “Comfort”…
Who “comforted Him” in disappoints of men?
Or is His “comfort”, been patience, Knowing the outcome?

At one time He seem regretful for creating manKind. IF only a handful of men truly Loved Him, would He be contently Filled with Joy with no regrets?

Glory to God,

I have lots of questions I’d ask God before I die.

After I die, i hope I’d have more than five minutes with Him. Seeing Him as He is, I would hope I would no longer be confused about what comes after death and what we will be.

Oh it's possible to talk withGod and for Him to answer questions...
I didn't like the answers....because God has deemed that we, as humans, don't need to know the future. It doesn't mean that God doesn't love us. Because God is GOOD, and some knowledge can hurt us in the long run.
So, "You ought to know " is the answer I got last time. God has equipped us with more than sufficient knowledge for our roles.

because God has deemed that we, as humans, don't need to know the future.

Tomorrow is not promised to us, so, God does not answer that question.
God gives us Grace for today.
He gives us strength for today.

And because God is in us, and is for us, then this gives us hope for tomorrow, should we be allowed it.
Eventually Hebrews 9:27 comes for us all.

So, Trying to plan for tomorrow is understandable.... is "human".....as is "saving for a rainy day"... ect......., however as the song says......"you dont know which way the wind blows, so how can you plan tomorrow".

Sometimes I have dreams of my future or just hints of things to come but not the timing of the future events . Most seem to be of a warning nature . A heads up I guess you could say . I am thankful for that .

Where is our consciousness of God?
Is it on the other side of the Universe somewhere or is it as close as our heart's and our mouth's?
Is it that he is present now or is it that he is absent and needs reminding of a lot of things?

After you die is missing the bus! Talk to the Lord now! Pray UnCeasingly.

If you talk to the Lord enough you run out of things to say so it drifts to small talk, lol. Sometimes the Lord answers me immediately and sometimes it is shortly and sometimes it has been, no answer. So I just figured that I was on a need to know basis and didn't need to know! Another time I needed an answer bad and kept praying for two weeks, and got no answer. But then I picked up my bible and flipped it open to read because I had been negecting it, and the very page I flipped it open to my eyes were drawn right to the verses that did answer my question that I had been praying about for two weeks. There was my answer!

I've asked the wrong question before too, and he sorta changed the subject to something more important that I had not considered yet. He's always way ahead of me, lol.

It'd be a better question if it was if you had 5 minutes to live what would you say to God?

There won't be a need to ask about anything, we will know everything when we are changed. In a twinkling of an eye, we will be like Jesus.
We will enter God's Kingdom and live in our estates. Once we experience "Real" life what significants is there in asking material questions???

I think there'll be many questions and our learning will continue.
