No, whenever God or Jesus are quoted,
Jesus is God.
I take that as law. As for Paul and other New Testament writers, I learn from them, just as I do my own preacher, taking what they say with a grain of salt.
You hold your "preacher" up to Paul? You should have STUDIED the Bible instead of listening to your preacher! You've been duped.

No matter how you look at it, nothing, including the Bible, carries the same authority as God. It is true that the Bible quotes God and Jesus many times, and they always speak the truth.

Revelations 22

12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Revelations covers everything from the fall of humanity the coming of Christ the Victory and celebration of Christ as he entered heaven and the final days upon the earth.

Like I say, nothing, including the Bible, has the authority that God has. If you are looking for authority, open your Bible and find the things that God and Jesus said.
Total contradiction!

It's not a contradiction. The Bible quotes God and Jesus many times. They always tell the truth.
It seems that you consider the Bible to be just another book. It turns out that for Christians, the Bible is more than just a book that tells us about God and Jesus.

The Bible for a Christian is the manual from which we learn the truth unequivocally. There is no other book like the Bible, and there is nothing in the world that has enough authority to contradict a teaching clearly established in the Scriptures.

I don't consider the Bible to be an ordinary book. It quotes God and Jesus many times, and they are in charge.

The Bible is not "quotes". It's God's written Word.

John 17:17 Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth.

As you can see, only "by means of the word" of God, people can be sanctified. Think about it: if you consider the Bible just "some quotes" from God and Jesus, you are devaluing the only way you can be sanctified.

So you think women shouldn't be able to speak when they are in a church (1 Corinthians 14:33-36)?
