Friends, so far I am not getting better. I'm trying to stay active but getting up is painful and so is walking with the walker.
All my life I've lifted weights and been active until a few years ago. I had resumed lifting weights and had lost 60 pounds when the pain got to be too much.
I have been off work since September 25th, I had surgery December 23rd and had a pulmonary embolism January 6th.
I can't stand to live like this. I can't even get dressed by myself.

Yes. My wife helps me. She's been incredible. Thanks for asking.
I just hate for her to have to do it
That is good to hear RLT63. I am so glad you are not alone and that someone is with you, I have been wondering about that and so I thought I would ask. I can understand how you feel though, how discouraging. You are in my prayers (and others prayers also) so you are not alone. I do hope you feel yourself again.

I see @Verily already asked if you have anyone to help you. I'm glad to learn you have your wife. I'm sure she is willing to help you....just like you would help her. So try to keep positive in remembering your blessings you do have.
I am totally alone and just keep praying that the Lord keeps me healthy and out of a hospital. No one to handle my affairs. But I don't think on it....I just pray for strength from the Lord to keep going.
I'm praying for you. There are many people who have it much worse than me, like my friend Liz, she has stage four cancer. She's already lived years past when they said she would die. She never complains, never feels sorry for herself and always has encouraging words.
And Mark who has cancer and will stop talking treatment soon. His insurance won't pay for it and he doesn't want to leave his wife without money.
Thank God I don't have cancer

P.S. About your friend Mark. Tell him to check out Dr. Berg's videos on YouTube. He talks about foods that fight cancer amongst other things.

I'm glad you are applying. Sometimes people get rejected the first time but apply again. Your lawyer can handle that.
Also, after awhile they will put you on Medicare which will help a lot with medical expenses. Some people also qualify for Medicaid or Medi-Cal.

Is there a generic for your medicine? Or a similar generic?
When I first went to get my Glaucoma eye drops, she told me it was over $600!!! I was shocked. She said she'd call my doctor and ask to fill the generic brand. So I pay zero dollars!!!
I had asked my doctor for the generic and he claimed the brand name would only be a few dollars....$600 sure wasn't a few dollars. Lol.
I got my doctors voice mail and left a message. I’m sure there’s something else available
