And by this method it’s impossible to be in error?

only the church teaching by the apostles is free from error Matt 28:19 Jn 8:32 Jn 16:13

Be in and Follow Christ, Gods Power,
BE in and Follow Truth, Gods Word...

Correct ... no error, no failure.

Follow men... you "know NOT for SURE" THEIR Truth or Power.

You want to Follow Jesus' Appointed "Apostles" ? That's is your Choice.

Pay close Attention TO Whom Jesus sought, and Jesus SENT His Named Apostles.

12 were Sent to out into the World TO the Lost Tribes of Israel... IS that You?

So which TRIBE of Israel are you OF?

so all believers are apostles?

what about the authority of the keys? All believers too or Peter and his successors?
Bible prophecy proves the Popes’ office is in the bible.

Isaiah 22:19 I will thrust you from your office, (Shebna) and you will be cast down from your station

Isa. 22:19 - Shebna is described as having an "office" and a "station." An office, in order for it to be an office, has successors. In order for an earthly kingdom to last, a succession of representatives is required.

This was the case in the Old Covenant kingdom, and it is the case in the New Covenant kingdom which fulfills the Old Covenant. Jesus our King is in heaven, but He has appointed a chief steward over His household with a plan for a succession of representatives.

Isa. 22:20: In that day I will call my servant Eli'akim the son of Hilki'ah,

Isa. 22:20 - in the old Davidic kingdom, Eliakim succeeds Shebna as the chief steward of the household of God. The kingdom employs a mechanism of dynastic succession. King David was dead for centuries, but his kingdom is preserved through a succession of representatives.

Isa. 22:21: and I will clothe him with your robe, and will bind your girdle on him, and will commit your authority to his hand; and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.

Isa. 22:21 - Eliakim is called “father” or “papa” of God's people. The word Pope used by Catholics to describe the chief steward of the earthly kingdom simply means papa or father in Italian. This is why Catholics call the leader of the Church "Pope." The Pope is the father of God's people, the chief steward of the earthly kingdom and Christ's representative on earth.

Isa. 22:22: And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Isa. 22:22 - we see that the keys of the kingdom pass from Shebna to Eliakim. Thus, the keys are used not only as a symbol of authority, but also to facilitate succession. The keys of Christ's kingdom have passed from Peter to Linus all the way to our current Pope with an unbroken lineage for almost 2,000 years.

Isa. 22:23: And I will fasten him like a peg (Nail) in a sure place, and he will become a throne of honor to his father's house.

Rev. 1:18; 3:7; 9:1; 20:1 - Jesus' "keys" undeniably represent authority. By using the word "keys," Jesus gives Peter authority on earth over the new Davidic kingdom, and this was not seriously questioned by anyone until the Protestant revolt 1,500 years later after Peter’s investiture.

Revelation 3:7 RSV
"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: `The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens.

Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Matt. 16:19 - whatever Peter binds or looses on earth is bound or loosed in heaven / when the Prime Minister to the King opens, no one shuts. This "binding and loosing" authority allows the keeper of the keys to establish "halakah," or rules of conduct for the members of the kingdom he serves.

Jer. 33:17 - Jeremiah prophesies that David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the earthly House of Israel. Either this is a false prophecy, or David has a successor of representatives throughout history.

Dan. 2:44 - Daniel prophesies an earthly kingdom that will never be destroyed. Either this is a false prophecy, or the earthly kingdom requires succession.

He gives the power to forgive and retain sins to all who "receive the Holy Spirit" (John 20:22-23).
This is why I have you and so many others on ignore. Jesus did not give "keys" to ALL, and the power to bind and loose was not given to ALL. That is not found anywhere in the Bible. They rigidly adhere to an invented doctrine and refuse to be reasoned with, refuse to answer simple questions.

please explain Jn 20:21-23

John 20:
[21] Then said Jesus to them [/B] (Tribesmen of The Tribes of Israel) [/B]
again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me,
[/B] even [/B] so [/B] send I you.[/B]

Even As:

Matt 15:
[24] But he answered and said, I (Jesus) am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

You should have known ... Gentile's were NOT LOST Sheep of Israel.

The Lost Sheep OF Israel WERE God believing men who STOPPED "practicing" their Beliefs, Praising God, Worshipping God...taking ON Worldly WAYS of unbelieving Gentiles.

[22] And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

• Those FEW men, elected to Follow, Hear, Believe, Observe Jesus and Believed He was the Promised Christ Messiah...and FOR their Belief...The Holy Spirits Breath "ON" they was THEM receiving Salvation of their souls....AND Gods Power With Them.

(You should have also learned...they could NOT receive a Quickened (Born Again spirit, until Jesus bodily returned TO Heaven)...and After Jesus' bodily return to Heaven...while all were together with (110 + others of Jesus' followers/ believers , as Acts reveals...They received their Born Again spirit).

[23] Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

This is authotity Given for Jesus' Apostles to have a particular relationship with Tribesmen and any man...
To Acknowledge any mans sin, (disbelief in God and Christ Jesus) and account that man as in (Disbelief); aka in Sin...
And TO account that such a man IN SiN, as remaining in sin...as the man "Remains in Sin", aka Disbelief.

It gave NOT "any man" power to Make a man in sin or power to remove Sin from a man...

But it gave them power to " acknowledge ", sinful men "from" Saved In Christ men...and Saved men "from" sinful unSaved men.

What distinguished the Catholic reformers of the 16th century from the Protestants was their method. The Protestants thought that they had a way of knowing the doctrines and practices of the Apostolic Church without recourse to the Church's magisterium, which they believed was discredited.

Their recourse was to literary analysis. It is part of the Protestant tradition to suspend judgment on doctrine until the individual is satisfied that he can find it in the Scriptures, for "the whole counsel of God, concerning all things necessary for his own glory, man's salvation, faith and life is either expressly set down in Scripture, or by good and necessary consequence may be deduced from Scripture" (WCF 1:6).

No religious teacher, not even the Church, deserves credence unless he teaches what the reader, enlightened by the Spirit, finds in the Scriptures. The believer therefore must set for himself that this or that doctrine is true. Before he accepts it, he weighs the doctrine in the balance of his own understanding of the Scriptures.

This is just the reverse of the Catholic's approach to belief. As the Catholic sees it, he must accept God on God's terms and not his own, which means to accept it from the hands of God's authorized teacher. It is not for him to "judge" the divine message but only to receive it. The basic difference between Catholic and non-Catholic approach to religious truth is that the non-Catholic constructs it, while the Catholic receives it so that no construction is called for or even in place of.

This is true, lol. The fundamental point of contention is the Catholics say you can't get to God except through their priesthood.

That plus a whole lot of other hurdels like Baptism, Confirmation, Communion, Purgatory, Priestly Absolution, Dying with out a mortal sin on your soul etc.etc. etc.

So does the Bible

1 Pet 3:20
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark all died and outside the church there is no salvation!)

He gives the power to forgive and retain sins to all who "receive the Holy Spirit" (John 20:22-23).
Uhhhh, NO - this was ONLY given to His inner circle.
Jesus never issued this commisson to the crowds - NEVER.

He sais to His Apostles in the Upper Room:
John 20:21-23
"Peace be with you. As the Father has sent ME, so I send YOU."
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins YOU forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins YOU retain are retained."

Q. What did the Father send the Son to do?
A.
To bring about the FORGIVENESS of sins.

Remember - not ALL who receive the Holy Spirit receive the SAME gifts.
1 Cor. 12:20-28
And God has placed in the church FIRST of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, THEN miracles, THEN gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.

Keep in Perspective.

The Church is Christs Church.
The Word of Truth is Jesus.

Man-made Churches ARE Supposed to Have Men Speaking to the Listeners "with Gods Word in their mouth"...

When the Speaker, Speaks "outside / beyond" the Scope of Gods Word...
Nothing in Scripture Teaches the "Listener of THAT Speaker to Agree with THAT SPEAKER"!

It is Catholic Churches that "require" all church members to Agree with "their" "appointed, elected" Speakers...(pope, cardinals, priests, bishops)...whatever Titles they go by, as appointed by the "man made table of hierarchy" of the Catholic Church.

It is a well known FACT... the Catholic Church "Members"...agree to be "sunservant" to Hierachy Catholic appointed/Elected teaching.

It is a well known FACT...a great number of Converted men in Christ...protest/reject Catholic Teaching that is Outside the Scope of Scripture, as Taught BY the Catholic Hierachy.

Your attempt to PROVE what IS Not written IN Scripture...IS a Two fold Attempt:
1) IS not necessary to be to Be Written in Scripture.
2) IT IS "UNCLEARLY" written in Scripture and Requires Deductions of This, That, Therefore mindful Logical conclusion, supports Catholic Teaching, not Clearly Stated in Scripture.

Well...for some people THAT ^ is a convoluted circle jerk of conniving (with A Cunning Mind and a Mind ability to make what is NOT appear plausible to a LOGICAL MIND, and Rejected...plain and simple.

Rom 8:
[7]...the carnal mind is enmity against God: ....

Men Trying to Psychologically, Logically, convince a Carnal Mind to Believe IN the Lord God... by men spouting their Doctrines Devised by, logically thinking Carnal minds of men... IS rejected by many.
Accept it.
And YOUR folly -and there are MANY - is that you are a Sola Scripturist.
NOWHERE does Scripture tell us that Scripture ALONE is our "Sole Authority".

In fact - Scripture tells s that the CHURCH is our FINAL earthly Authrority (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, Luke 10:16, John 16:12-15, John 20:21-23). It ALSO says that anybody who rejects this Authority rejects Christ and the ONE who sent Him (Luke 10:16).

Good luck with that . . .

3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

I don’t see your name here?

only apostles and the successors of the apostles

Bible prophecy proves the Popes’ office is in the bible

in a sense this might very well be right . Let us examine the message to the seven churches .
Even where satans seat is . It is possible i suppose that is sure was in bible prophecy .
Cause i see the most deceptive pope in my life time ruling and reigning and his seat seems not be to CHRIST CENTERED .
but rather ..................A broad road message . Very broad , as in broad is the way that leadeth unto damnation .
Let no man , woman or child take heed to this pope . Very deceptive it is . Heck even some catholics agree with this statement .

WRONG again - and I already proved this by presenting 1 Cor. 12:20-28.

NOW
, I'll continue with what the Holy Spirit said through Paul in the nect three vserses:
1 Cor. 12:29-31
Are ALL apostles? Are ALL prophets? Are ALL teachers? Do ALL work miracles? Do ALL have gifts of healing? Do ALL speak in tongues? Do ALL interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.

The answer to each one of those quwations Paul wrote is "NO".
NOT all are Apostles.
NOT
all are teachers.
NOT
all are prophets - and so on . . .

Jesus gave the power to forgive and retain sins to a small group of men and NOT the crowds.
YOU don't have the power OR the Authority to retain the sins of another.

You wish....because I have in the only recent past, as concerning our lifetimes, retained your sins against me.

But clearly, the promise that we can retain or forgive sins is given to those who receive the Holy Spirit.

That is the context of John 20:22-23.

Scripture says:

I fully agree.
Scripture IS profitable for all those things - and it IS Authoritative.

However, this verse in NO way states that it is our SOLE authority.
You would have to throw out several other verses, including Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, Luke 10:16, John 16:12-15, and John 20:21-23).

THANK YOU for pointing out the "Seventy" that were sent out.
Do you have any idea WHO these "Seventy" men were? They were the first leaders and Bishops of the Catholic Church.

Hippolytus of Rome was a disciple of Irenaeus, a disciple of Polycarp, who was adisciple of Apostle John.
His work On the Seventy Apostles of Christ lists these men from Luke10:1-23 - by name . . .

1. James the Lord's brother, bishop of Jerusalem.
2. Cleopas, bishop of Jerusalem.
3. Matthias, who supplied the vacant place in the number of the twelve apostles.
4. Thaddeus, who conveyed the epistle to Augarus (Abgar V).
5. Ananias, who baptized Paul, and was Bishop of Damascus.
6. Stephen, the first martyr.
7. Philip, who baptized the eunuch.
8. Prochorus, bishop of Nicomedia, who also was the first that departed, 11 believing together with his daughters.
9. Nicanor died when Stephen was martyred.
10. Timon, bishop of Bostra.
11. Parmenas, bishop of Soli.
12. Nicolaus, bishop of Samaria.
13. Barnabas, bishop of Milan.
14. Mark the Evangelist, bishop of Alexandria.
15. Luke the Evangelist.
16. Silas, bishop of Corinth.
17. Silvanus, bishop of Thessalonica.
18. Crisces (Crescens), bishop of Carchedon in Gaul.
19. Epænetus, bishop of Carthage.
20. Andronicus, bishop of Pannonia.
21. Amplias, bishop of Odyssus.
22. Urban, bishop of Macedonia.
23. Stachys, bishop of Byzantium.
24. Barnabas, bishop of Heraclea
25. Phygellus, bishop of Ephesus. He was of the party also of Simon.
26. Hermogenes. He, too, was of the same mind with the former.
27. Demas, who also became a priest of idols.
28. Apelles, bishop of Smyrna.
29. Aristobulus, bishop of Britain.
