The Liberal Canadian media did a sensational documentary about a so called "Christian" sect and cult that still practice polygamy. The leader of the cult was an older man and had many wives , some as young as 16.

As a Christian , I was interviewed and was asked for my opinion.

I stated that the cult had all the appearances of simply being a group of older men desiring lots of young women , and were hiding behind religion to keep the regulators away.

The Liberal non-christian reporter liked my response and gave me a warm smile. She was very much against one man having 10 wives.


But before she walked away I mentioned that something really puzzled me and could she help me understand something....

Sure she said .......

I asked the reporter why she was so against one man having 10 wives , ...... but if this same man had 10 young homosexual lovers her documentary would be about how society should tolerate and accept them.

Instead of a warm smile , I got a glimpse of the anger of the devil in her face.

I can smell those people a mile away and I enjoy making them show their evil on camera.

If I am christian and own an apartment which I rent out, should I not be allowed to decide who I will rent it to? If two homos wanted to rent it, I would say no. If two drug addicts wanted to rent it I would say no. If a paeodophile wanted to rent it I would say no.

Discrimination is a way of life. We discriminate at to which school our children will attend. We discriminate as to which church we will attend. We discriminate as to which career we pursue. We discirminate as to which TV programmes we watch.

Discrimination allows us to make choices that comply with our world view and religious beliefs. Homosexuality is no different. You either believe it is right or wrong and you discriminate accordingly in your response to it.

To say you cannot discriminate against a person and his homosexua;ity is to say you are not allowed to exercise your conscience.

Christians - besides working to help homosexuals receive healing and deliverance - are literally fighting for the right to continue to practice their religion freely. If the homosexual community has its way, even speaking a negative word against homosexuality will be a crime. CRIME. C-R-I-M-E. punishable by fine or even imprisonment. Let's pretend that could happen - is you life so anti-homosexually centered that you would actually be in danger of prison? If it is - you really need to get a life.

You don't need to pretend brother, it is happening. I have serveral cases on file where a person has said homosexuality is sin and some homsexual has made sure a human rights (wrongs) commision gets to know about it and they end up fined or in jail.

I would venture a guess that there is a higher percentage of homosexuals in this country than there were thirty years ago, due to the agressive tactics of that movement. If drug use is legalized, and promoted as homosexuality has been, I would venture another guess that drug use and users would increase.

The more this happens, the more homosexuals you will have because at the heart of homosexuality is rejection by their primary parent or carer. The choice of homosexuality is their way of compensating for the non acceptance.

Another example is India. I have just read a book about one of the slums where 25,000 people live. 9. You mentioned the comparison between legalizing drug to help the drug addict not feel suicidal. That make little sense, since the drugs themselves (especially alcohol) are the reason they are suicidal. On the other hand discrimination of homosexuals adds to the problem of homosexual suicide.

I think it is important to point out that freedom of speech is not protected by the Canadian constitution like it is in the US.

In addition, physical attractiveness is a factor in male homosexual culture, not female. Suicide is a factor in both, which brings up an important issue - it seems as if male homosexuality is much less acceptable than female homosexuality - why is this?

I know there was a rumor out there about Arafat dieing of AIDS. I think he will be remembered for much worse atrocities than being gay.

I think there is a myth out there that promotes the idea that the family has been a strong unit forever - up until the last 60 years or so - it is just not true. There are so many social and economic factors for the rise in divorce in the US that it is difficult to get an accurate picture of what is really happening. It seems to me that one of the main reasons that the family looks worse of today is because women do not have to rely on men in the same way as they used to, so they are able to leave bad situations. Many marriages in the past accepted elements within the relationships that are not tolerated anymore - mistresses, homosexual encounters, alcohol abuse, beatings, etc.

Historically, most acceptable forms of homosexuality occurred between ruler and subjects and teachers and students. It was quite common for men to engage in homosexual behavior during key times in their lives with no affect on their marriage

It is not likely that you would know if someone was a criminal or pedophile unless they were forced under law to tell you, which brings up an important point - both activities are illegal and a detriment to society. Also, both activities are crimes - unlike homosexuality. So, why would you break the law and refuse to rent to homosexuals? Do homosexual not have the right to have a roof over their heads?

Discrimination is a way of life. We discriminate at to which school our children will attend. We discriminate as to which church we will attend. We discriminate as to which career we pursue. We discirminate as to which TV programmes we watch.

I have no problem employing a discriminating mind when it comes to deciding between objects or ideas or other inanimate things. I do have a problem with excluding people who have not committed a crime. All the same reasonings some use to discriminate against black people are used to discriminate against homosexuals - I think that is eye-opening. And before you think that homosexuality is different because it is a moral issue - people who opposed equality for black people made it into a moral issue as well - the mark of Cain.

I believe homosexuality is a sin. I believe people whose sin is visible to others have the same rights as people who engage in hidden sin. Jesus didn't discriminate against people. He discriminated against oppression.

All I can say is....if you are going to ban the homosexuals, the drug addicts, the pedophiles, the theives, the liars, the adulterers, the idolators, etc., your apartment will remain empty and go out of business. Those who are without sin are the only ones who will be in your apartment. So, which one of us is without sin?

Christ was the opposite. He called all sinners to Him and He gave His life to save sinners. Christ loved all sinners. The only thing He did not like were the sins. As Christians, are we not supposed to imitate Christ and love our neighbors who are all sinners?

It is not that way today because in the past, it used to be that housing was denied to people due to the color of their skin or their race. That was during the days of segregation. So, laws were in place banning segregation and protecting minorities from housing, employment, and educational discrimination.

I know why there are those laws but in order to give one person a right you take away another person's right.

If a person works to buy a house he should be able to rent that house to whom ever he chooses or not rent it to whom ever he chooses regardless of the reason. It is his. Now there is an ever growing list of people that he has no choice but to rent it to if he has it for rent.

That is not right either.

I always find the race thing amusing. Normally we get into it on forums that are always screaming about racial discrimination with those that live up on the North West Coast that have a population ratio of about one black person to one thousand white people. Or either it is some of the race baiting blacks that are screaming racial discrimination.
