First, to update the topic itself re: the election. Happening today.

Secondly, re: The Match.com Satan video, the first track is from the W.A.S.P album, Unholy Terror. The video that explains the lyrics, shares them, is at YouTube. Some images are too graphic for this site, but keep in mind they are of Satan so that's not a real surprise. However, for anyone who wishes to watch the video and perhaps see that the lyrics aptly describe, in my opinion at least, the state of the world to date. And from all time. And, as scripture tells us, relates the lord of this world and his influence, as he walks about like a hungry lion seeking souls to devour. This video and its lyrics, the video giving snaps of history and dictators, etc... conflates what Satan is in scripture and his role here quite well.

I agree with a comment on the page. I think this just might be the most underrated metal song ever. It's so brilliantly composed.

I think God chose a "special" people to demonstrate the examples men should and shouldn't do or be.

I like your take on it. :) The Gematria(Numerology in Judaism) is intriguing. As is the Tetragrammaton. Numbers, symbols, imagery, the deeper meaning behind what was written on the scrolls, page, made for early Judaism to be referred to by others as a mystery tradition.
I can understand and appreciate that and the why of it. Speaking of and to God, God speaking of himself and to us, is a sacred privilege to be honored and respected for the awesome insight the relationship affords us. To learn what we are, why we are, for what we are made, and have guidance as to best navigate the path of this life, and warning as to what awaits if we slip, and promise there is rescue from the worst of it.
To have a link to the source of all that exists, and at least see there is a spark, an answer we may comprehend, for why we exist as we do, is something to be treasured and protected from that which is averse to that communication.
That's why just reading the scriptures isn't enough. Delving deeper into the message behind the recurring numbers, the analogies, the similes, metaphors, parables of course, is a study that never ends and yet keeps on opening doors to understanding and relationship with Holy Spirit. Who is not a who, is not a man, but is just that; Holy, Spirit.
Makes me wish I was independently wealthy. I could help people and also take my leisure at home buried in study.

I live on $530.00 a month.. I just got a $7.00 increase.. woohoo lol
$115.00 a month in food.
I am disabled and own a 2004 dodge that runs when it feels like it, (not always when I'm hungry) lol
I pay for my phone, the internet, trash removal, and my cats.
And car repairs, insurance, registration and inspection, which I have to put money aside each moth to cover these.
I'm blessed if I end up with $5.00 in my wallet by the next disability check.

I eat well. I have a roof over my head. I have clothes on my back. I have transportation although randomly.
And I am surrounded by furballs of love.

I found this place from a dark place. And I have time to study.

I may not be independently wealthy by the world's standards.
But I am beyond blessed by the Lord's.
And I am Happy.. :)

Surgical removal?? Really? So assassination is the Christian's new weapon to bring good about in the earth? Do you even hear yourself? And just as the Word predicts, there will be those in the last day who will be so blinded by their flesh that when they kill others, they will think they do God a service.

A blackness of earthly-minded reasoning is being seen birthed in Christian circles. And it is growing. Its root is the old nature, motivated by hatred and pride. It will talk of grace, but fight tooth and nail to bend its version of truth to fit its own agenda.

The time to bow before God and cry out to Him to deliver us from US is coming into view. Some will cry out for it. Some will grow darker and darker, and instead say they have need of nothing.

The question is... who will admit they need to be delivered from self. Do we not get it? What is wrong with the world resides as well in the old nature of each one of us. Who will give Him no rest till He not only forgives us but also delivers us from the power of darkness rooted in our old man? There is a way to escape it but that way will not be made clear until we hunger after it with all that lies within us.

I know this much. Right now, far too many men occupying pews in our churches are quite content right where they are, confessing they have need of nothing, because grace makes it all ok anyway, so why sweat it?

Until we finally see that what needs to be 'surgically removed'..... put off..... reckoned dead..... is the old us, we will continue to flounder as the world flirts more and more with disaster. Until we, by faith, clothe ourselves with our new natures, we cannot have our minds renewed and see things as light beings, sojourners, passers through. And because of that deep unbelief, men are being influenced by the god of this world and risking their very eternities.

God forgive us and open our eyes.

Yes, ever notice? The people that win the lottery already have money for the most part? How about those guys who are on their third or fourth lottery win of millions. WHAT?
I don't even win scratch-offs. But then again I rarely if ever buy them. I'm thinking there's a connection there somehow.

One good thing about lottery, besides if I get a wild hair and do play Powerball and win, sometimes needy people do win.
A few years ago there was a girl in the news. She had gotten pregnant at I think 17. Her family were very strict Christians and kicked her out. She was homeless. She ended up living on her best friends couch. The family were very kind. One day her friend said, why don't you play the lottery? As she'd gotten a part time job by then, still pregnant of course.
She won! The whole Powerball and it was mega millions. She was the sole winner.

I don't think I'd have telephoned the fam.
Pregnant and made homeless for a mistake and by blood family.
No, not making that call. Let 'em read it in the papers. Not that I'd give my name. I'd have people climbing out of the woodwork for handouts. Hey, remember when I smiled at you when you were six months old? Hmmm?

But what we are seeing is this darkness openly proclaimed as light..... among Christians! .....Even if brothers and sisters in the Lord hold different viewpoints. Ultimately, they will be forced by their own theology to brand these saints as the enemy, and the lash will fall upon them too. Thus, it will be fulfilled that there will be those in the last day who think they are doing God a "service" for executing other believers. You think this an exaggeration? The seeds are raising their heads and growing.

As long as we remain earthly-minded, we will focus on making this world our plane of operation. And there is but ONE way to escape it. What is needed for us to have our minds renewed... rebooted so to speak? We MUST put off our old man by an act of faith alone, seeing nothing, feeling nothing, and believe that what Jesus bought for us with His death and resurrection was that we can walk away from our self-driven nature and put on brand new ones that not only can obey, but WANT TO!

The separation is beginning. Choices will have to be made. There will be no fence sitting allowed, lol. God has bought for us something we simply have not been told about because all have been asleep to it. Yes, all. We will have to choose to save our life, which is our old nature, or to lose our life for His sake, surrendering 100%, and discovering that God not IN you, what the Bible calls the new man, is who we now are. NOW.

And who are we? New-natured men and women totally kept from sin by the power of God through faith, and the painfully slow sanctification process we have all been taught is the norm, will be left in the jet wash of the Spirit of God restoring each one of us from spiritual desert to lushness of light and life.

These trials we are beginning to have are there to shake us awake to the lateness of the hour and that our lukewarm hearts need to be infused with LIGHT. Remember, even the five virgins who made it in to Heaven had the oil of the Holy Spirit. But having it and lighting it to bring forth fruit and to display light to others, well, they are two very different things.

Big changes are coming within the church. New wine must be put in new wineskins. We are about to see what God can do for us, to us, in us, as He rolls up His sleeves and subdues the enemy who WAS us, but is not us any longer.

Why are paper ballots SOOOOO important?

Watermarks on the Paper. Every brand of paper has it's own watermark.
If ballots were run in mass on seperate printers, they will not have the same watermark as the authentic ballots.

Internet "FACT CHECKERS" are NOTORIOUS LIARS. And consider how during the Debates, the "Moderators" FACT CHECKED Trump and argued their LIES ( -- so Trump had to also debate the "moderator" --), but these "moderators" never FACT CHECKED any of Trump's opponents.

And while one can easily DISPUTE the LIES, -- why waste the time?!? We already know that LIARS LIE, but honest people report the truth as researched by their statisticians and Analysts.

Yes, Hitler knew how to play the political game well to keep the opposition happy until he was strong enough and the laws set in place to get rid of them one way or the other. He was especially careful in the beginning to not offend either the Catholic or Protestant church people. Apparently the Jews were not real popular anyway so he gradually increased the pressure against them to see how far he could go without stirring up the "Christians" who were on his side.

These are the laws those cops were operating under. Of course the pepper spray in the face of the dad, on his stomach, while the offender cop held the back of his neck with one hand and sprayed him directly in the eyes and mouth with the other, was intended as punishment. And to send the message as to what happens when he doesn't obey. Oh, how we know that is so true in this world today.)

No matter who is in power things are not improving in the world around us. I remember when Trump was elected for his first term I attended a church fellowship meeting. One minister who did not like the new President still said that the man, Trump, should slow down the slide away from God that had already been in progress for a very long time. I agreed and agree now. Unfortunately, the backlash against all police officers because the few bad ones in most places or the groups of officers being allowed or encouraged to enforce the evil ways of the politicians in power is working to make it worse. But it is an unstoppable freight train moving steadily onward to destruction. Only God has the power to stop it and I do not believe that jumping onto the way of the least evil [as men measure evil] group will really help. When the 10 northern tribes of Israel under Jeroboam and his successors were looking more like their natural gentile neighbors all of the time, which side was God on...? He was always on His own side. Not one northern King of Israel was pleasing to God. In the south Judah moved downward a bit slower perhaps but nonetheless. When a good King like Hezekiah or Josiah came along the movement away from God was slowed, but never stopped.

Individuals were 'saved' in the north as well as in the south, but the end of both kingdoms was unstoppable because that is what the people wanted as dictated by their ways.

Nineveh, the gentile city of 120,000 did better because when Jonah preached they repented truly. When Nineveh was destroyed about 150 years later as per Nahum, the generation that had repented was gone. Where is the repentant generation in the USA? In Israel God told the prophet he still had 7,000 that had not bent their knee to Baal. We, in the USA, even if we were once a "Christian" led nation certainly are not now because so many certainly are bending their knee to Baal from what I am able to see.

I saw evil goings on and evil people when I was a child, but even as a young Catholic I saw hope in a few of my Catholic friends and in the Protestant family of my father. Most of the people in which I saw hope are now gone [died] and I have seen fewer replacements and if anything an increase in the evil happenings.

Perhaps God sent us Trump to allow hope to a few more for a short time, but like Israel and Judah the people, too many of them called Christians, have rebelled and remain in rebellion against God. I believe, their "ten times" have been used up already. I hope that I am wrong.

The difference matters little to me in the flesh as my wife and I have lived the better part of our lives in the flesh. We help when and where we can praying for open hearts and for other hearts to be opened, but we are unable to save anyone or even help anyone who won't even open their eyes to the Hope of the Way of God. We cannot open their eyes or stop them from looking back at Sodom. We cannot save them or anyone by "taking back" this country to the original spirit of the Constitution to what it was supposed to be when it was written. The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence are not Jesus... are not God. The heart of Constitution, I believe, is already gone...

If someone seriously wants to bring about a true repentance to God, I am for that and would support it. Joining some group to retain or regain control of the White House would be a meaningless venture without true repentance.
