It is good to know a little bit about history because....
Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
I know all this can be a little bit stressful for some...but like Davy Crockett...grin and bear it...a small pun.
Learn from history...which is reality. Kingdoms do not last, and one of the reasons is that people become too complacent...too comfortable with peace.

So it is important to mind your borders and set your borders with in the limits that can be defended.
Then know that at times you have to step out of that civilized mind set to defend your borders.

According to the media... the electoral college has certified it's votes and Biden has won with 306 votes.
I have also read that Mr. Trump still has some options. At what point is this issue settled? I would think
that once the electoral college has certified their votes... that it is finished... leading to the inauguration on
Jan. 20th to make it official.

As far as the argument seems to go the GOP electors are there only if the legislators vote to put them there. There was no legislature vote, they are just protesting without a legal foundation.

There is good reason to question the vote on use of the Dominion machines, but legally the system certified the result. There are many innocent people in jail but to free them you need a legal path.

Some demonise all democrats which is dividing the country. How does that work? Jesus calls us to love our enemies, bless not curse them.

It seems claiming God is with one while demonising the opposition is not following God at all. The great falling away is gaining pace which is sad but then the elect never stop listening and following Jesus.

I see no language that requires there be a session to appoint electors per the constitution. The GOP has a majority there, which should be enough.

No Presidental Canidate is Lawfully Required to Concede.

If you believe it is important to any democratic system that the leader for a period openly hands over to the next leader of the next period as a symbol of continuity and resilience of the system.

But that is the point. Trump will not handover power, and does not care about the system.
If you believe one personally is the solution, like all dictators do, then concession is a denial of ones own existence.
And to their followers the same logic works, and to doubt the King should not continue is treason.

Whether the system is fair or compromised, going this far stops any further progress.
I think at a subconscious level a society can literally start to ignore someone, until they are gone.

Negative press or whatever, there comes a time when simply it is enough.
A child knows when it has lost any support for those they want to impress.
I think this point has long sailed, far far away.

But I think my fellow christian brother, there is no awareness of what I am really talking about.

God, economy, schools, guns, immigration.
Some harvard studies have concluded what makes America work is solid institutions, funding of small businesses and opportunities, and the integrity that makes it all work. With a culture of people who desire dreams to come real, and are prepared to take risks, will create a culture of opportunity and also failure.

The real challenge is the internet and global brands like Amazon, Google, Microsoft have changed the landscape, and to a degree how this small business and opportunities can flourish. So ones past successes can stifle the future opportunities, along with China stealing so much intellectual property, what should be reward for success is funding criminal behaviour.

I wish I could say this is a political left or right issue, but I think it is much more nuanced, and only as a united community can you take on such powerful forces. In dividing a nation one can be the problem and not the solution.

If you want faith to be relevant, which in Jesus it is, you need to stop seeing Patriot, and start seeing technology has levelled us all into one humanity. How many of us spend hours each day interacting using this interface and not face to face with people? Our whole identity and sense of worth has shifted, and we have not noticed. Us being here together is just one part of this new experience of interaction through the instant written word.

Everyone is just beginning to learn what this means, how it works socially, politically, and our future, but just with Covid, few want to return to losing 3 hours a day commuting to sit at a desk for snatched conversations, when the same work can be done at home.

The election in the US is an international event, like never before, because of this technology.
Trump and his desires through Twitter was never open to a president before, with its benefits and problems.
I think elections are not going to be the same in 4 years, or anywhere as the need and security considerations are becoming plain to see by everyone, and mobile phone security is sitting there saying use me.

Now we have active duty military, the highest ranks I've seen were a Col and a Major saying martial law is coming 12/18. Stock up on enough food and water for 10 days. Do not interfere with them, don't try to help, dont try to hinder, you will get hurt.
