The Fundamentalists are not wrong with what they do. They pretty much take the first 65 years documented in the Bible and after around 1500 years these groups went back to the fundamentals. Why? Some know why?

I am multi-denominational so I can defend both sides. And I say both sides are valid. Why? The Fundamentalist can go to the Bible and find the Way to salvation. And that is important…the most important. It is an attempt to stay pure to the Word. What is wrong with that? Stay pure to the Word, be Saved, and go to Heaven. What is wrong with that?

And if they had done that successfully, that would have been great. But they did not. As the centuries passed, men reinterpreted the Bible over and over again until now you have something over 30,000 denominations. (Some say 50,000) That is a problem. The main problem is confusion. But then again, some denominations can lead to no salvation. So what is a person to do? Study the scriptures extensively and with that information pick the best denomination. If you are going to formulate your beliefs solely on the Bible, that is probably your best choice. And no matter what anybody says there is nothing wrong with that and it can lead to Salvation.

Now it is human nature, everybody wants to look over the fence. By their own admission, mostly, their belief system is sola scriptura, and it can be argued, maybe scripturally that you are not suppose to look over the fence.

But most know that Christianity continued on after the close of the Bible, and they are curious. So they climb the fence and venture out, with the condemnation gun at ready. Not really knowing what they are looking at nor do they really understand what is going on. So Boooom they condemn.

The fact is the divine events in the Gospels are the most important. Of course the Gospels duplicate a lot of the events…you could number them to something less than 40, but number wise…between 65 ad and 2020 ad…thousands of divine events have occurred. In many Christian religions. The Bible does not explain or foretell a lot of the things that have occurred. It certainly does not foretell 30,000 Christian denominations. False religions? Yes it does. But which ones of the Protestant religions are false and which ones are true? Still too many.

Thousands of divine events have occurred over the last 2,000 years, all over the world. Many have been documented. Christianity did not die at the end of the Bible. The Trinity did not retire at the close of the biblical era. They did not stop interacting with people and they did not stop communicating with people. They did not stop performing miracles.

Maybe after seeing what people understood from the Bible, maybe they saw a need to give further information or even correction. Certainly what they were looking at was man being very confused about what the Bible meant, and you see it here on this forum. But one thing is for sure, they did not stop interacting with people. That would not even make sense at any level. The Son of God dies for us and that is the end of the story?

So as far as female divine forms appearing on earth, what is wrong with that? Did women get a fair shake in the Bible? Male dominate society with a male dominate religion. No they did not. The Christian voice, the feminine Christian voice was silenced for centuries. This is one the reasons I support the females that speak their mind on this forum.

Was there a need for a feminine divine figure? Does everything have to be male? Are only males holy? The history of Marian apparitions number in the thousands and go back hundreds of years and are well documented. More than one religion believes that Mary is an active divine figure, and all those that do are much older than Protestantism. They split hairs on how to classify her…(as if they could)….But the fact is she has been active through out history.

Still it is not wrong for Fundamentalists to deny it all. “I don’t care if there were 10 million million and I saw it myself I still would not believe!” Perfectly fine for them not to believe. Actually, who is asking them to believe? Stop looking over the fence! I can tell you that you are missing a lot, but that does not mean you are not saved. So stick with Bible…what is wrong with that?

For me lol One Sunday I am jumping up and down praising and feeling the movements of the Holy Spirit and the next Sunday I am in the presence of the Holy Mary and loving every minute of it. For me, I love Mary.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

(1) THE APPARITIONS AT MEDJUGORJE IN BOSNIA

As I've said, I am a Pentecostal Methodist, not a Catholic. But I feel led of God to defend or at least present biblical perspectives on Catholic distinctives in the hope that they can receive a fair hearing. What interests me far more are the major apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Though the RC Church accepts the authenticity of Marian apparitions at Guadaloupe, Fatima, and Lourdes (among other locales), Rome has yet to pronounce on the validity of the more recent apparitions at Medjugorje in Bosnia from 1981 to the present. I have been impressed by the testimonies of very bright acquaintances (e.g. a lawyer and a behavior psychologist) whose lives have been changed by pilgrimages to Medjugorje, sharing in the visions and experiencing miracles while there. For me, the jury is out on these miraculous apparitions at Medjugorje because of the 10 epic secrets revealed by Mary to the children. The children know the dates on which these events will be fulfilled and promise to disclose the exact dates 3 days in advance of their fulfillment. From their remarks, it seems that some of these events are truly apocalyptic!

As for myself, I visited the alleged house of the Virgin Mary atop a majestic little mountain outside of Ephesus in Turkey and I sensed the loving presence of the Holy Spirit there more powerfully than I did in my trips to biblical sites in Greece and Israel. I visited this house during a "Footsteps of St. Paul" tour out of curiosity arising from a spectacular healing miracle experienced there by a highly skeptical Methodist friend who had visited Mary's house previously. I'll share that experience in greater detail in future posts. Please watch the video before you post a reaction!
