@Josho Does the Yarra River form the boundary at all?
Sky news is the place to go for journalism that is not filtered by the looney left...
A young fellow by the name of Martyn Iles does a great show called "The truth of it" which looks at current news from a Christian perspective
Can u please elaborate on what you mean by this...
"such great evil is taking place nowadays that is beyond anything that our Nation has ever did by far"
Cos i don't know what Australia is doing that hasn't already been done in the USA or the UK.
Allowing gay marriage would be one of the most wicked things iv seen our government allow, "safe schools" is right up there too
@Josho Does the Yarra River form the boundary at all?
We in fact have the most pathetic generation ever now in the history of Australia and that's a fact, the younger generation are so shallow that they are a disgrace, a blight and a curse. they have the hide to bag the generations gone before them, they even have been mislead into be claiming to be sorry for generations of the past, fact is no one can claim such a thing in fact, especially when they do not have a handle on the reality of the situation of them days, so we had a socialist play their games on the people painting a picture, for shallow ignorant dolts to swallow.

It's pretty confusing mate.
Melbourne is the name of the capital city of Victoria.
Then you have inner Melbourne which basically goes 10-20km around Melbourne city, and includes all the suburbs in it, even that's not even an accurate definition though, and then some may include places 40km away in the definition of "Urban Melbourne", and then there is "Greater Melbourne" which includes 31 LGA (Local Government Areas), the Greater Melbourne region stretches as far as 160km to the north-east from Melbourne city to the Yarra Ranges shire boundary which is at Matlock, but Greater Melbourne only stretches out about 35km to the west to a town called "Little River", and about roughly about the same distance to the northern boundary, in Southern part of the Greater Melbourne boundary, is the Mornington Peninsula, which meets the Bass Strait, and Portsea is 109km from Melbourne City by road, but it's still considered part of Greater Melbourne, so that's the great distance to the southern boundary, the south-eastern boundary goes out to Pakenham which is 53km from Melbourne, and the Eastern Boundary goes out to between Powelltown and Noojee which is 85km.
They define Melbourne's population by the Greater Melbourne population, which is not very accurate, in reality 5 million people do not live in Melbourne city, many of them live in the surrounding suburbs in inner Melbourne, there is also quite a population in the Eastern suburbs of urban Melbourne, and some in the western suburbs of Melbourne, but there reaches a certain point in the East, where not a huge population lives out past Lilydale, and the biggest towns out past there still consider (Greater Melbourne) would be Healseville or Yarra Glen, with Healseville's population being 6,567. That would be considered a small town in UK or USA and under 4000 residents in Yarra Glen. The towns past Lilydale are spread out more, and there are plenty of farms in between.
As Cristo Rei shared earlier these are the boundaries of Greater Melbourne, the Yarra River starts roughly where I put the red dot, it starts in the wilderness in between Matlock and Tanjil Bren, then it flows into the Upper Yarra Reservoir, and the Yarra river continues from there all the way to the city. And from what I know, it just about starts at the boundary, but I don't think it really forms the boundary, a little section might, but that's only a really small part of the eastern boundary of the Yarra Ranges.

I remember my elder brother first boss would say to him, regardless of anything, "That's no excuse !" it just did not matter.I was working with a guy who was about 26yo.
One day I started to tell him how pathetic his generation is but his response kind of shut me up. He said its not our fault, it's your fault.
How... Well it's the baby boomers and gen x that taught gen y and gen z. And he makes a valid point, his parents and all his teachers are older.
These minority radical lefties have been allowed to gain control of education. The media too.
You'll be hard pressed trying to find a conservative school or teacher. Even the Catholic schools teach a form of liberal Christianity.
Most people under 40yo agree with it all, nearly everyone under 30yo does. Another 5 to 10 years and us oldies will be outnumbered.
That's why i want to move out to country one day, away from the madness of the concrete jungle and closer to nature, to God.
AgreedAfter saying all this, @marksman is probably thinking that is crazy how far Greater Melbourne's boundaries stretch, they are too far stretched in the Eastern part and North-Eastern part that's for sure. . In reality, many of the towns in the eastern arm of the Yarra Ranges should not even be considered part of Melbourne, considering the distance.
That will be the end of life as we know it. Such beautiful countryside to end up a housing estate.Oh mate, they are developing like crazy in West Gippsland, I even saw they have some developments going on around Neerim and near Jindivick I believe.
Surprise surprise a road block is just outside Coldstream, that's 40 minutes closer to the city than here;). There's really not much information where the other roadblocks are at the moment.
