I would say its simply the nature of translation
Languages are different and use different alphabets... i really dont think there is anything more to it then that.
I would agree.

Well you would be wrong, a lot more to it than thatI would say its simply the nature of translation
Languages are different and use different alphabets... i really dont think there is anything more to it then that.
well I'm going to use the NAME of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 2:12 "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."I have a number of different translations, plus a Greek Interlinear, along with a number of reliable commentaries. This give a good range of understanding when considering a passage of Scripture. The danger is exclusively using one translation and deriving personal interpretation while ignoring the contribution of godly, prayerful men through the centuries who have sought the Lord for understanding.
It would be arrogance of me to say that I am right about a passage of Scripture and everyone else is wrong; and it would almost be a misrepresentation of the Holy Spirit to say that the Holy Spirit gives me exclusive information that He does not share with the rest of the body of Christ.
No one person has special and exclusive access to the Holy Spirit apart from the rest of the body of Christ. It is a matter of "name dropping" to bolster a level of authority that one does not have, and when a person "name drops" the Holy Spirit to support their own view, the Lord is very likely to come along and say, "Who told you to use the name of the Holy Spirit in vain?"
ye have not because ye ask not......... and when one ask, ask in Faith, not wavering. No one person has special and exclusive access to the Holy Spirit apart from the rest of the body of Christ.
Notice that in terms of wisdom, God gives to ALL men liberally, not just a select few who think they are born again better than everyone else.well I'm going to use the NAME of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 2:12 "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."
1 Corinthians 2:13 "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
and YES, with all caps....... I will used the name of the Holy Spirit who teach me. and to stand in that name, just prove me wrong.... (smile).
it's just that simple. until then, I will mangify the NAME of he who teach me, the Lord Jsus the Holy Spirit.
and as for,
ye have not because ye ask not......... and when one ask, ask in Faith, not wavering.
James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
James 1:6 "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."
James 1:7 "For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord." Ooop.....
James 1:8 "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."
James 4:3 "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."
as I say in my footer, "where there is knowledge, stay not ignorant"

yes, when you ask..... ;)Notice that in terms of wisdom, God gives to ALL men liberally, not just a select few who think they are born again better than everyone else.
BINGO!!!!Who cares about “which translation” ...it is the Spirit of God that opens our spiritual eyes, He alone saves ...not some bible translation.
People ‘get saved ‘ by hearing a testimony about the love and glory of God.
NO bible can or does send anyone to Hell! That’s rubbish.
I don't know about you, but I am always asking for wisdom from the Lord, and He directs me right back to the Bible!yes, when you ask..... ;)

Good, then read it ..... with Him in Lead.....I don't know about you, but I am always asking for wisdom from the Lord, and He directs me right back to the Bible!
Is that from KJVO?
Video talks about the legitimacy of the KJV and talks about the falsehood of the NIV, QJV etc....

You bet! It is from some uninformed crackpot that makes the King James an idol!Is that from KJVO?
The fourth leg of the Trinity! You bet! It is from some uninformed crackpot that makes the King James an idol!
It's not so much a corrupt Bible that is sending people to hell, but corrupt churches like Hillsong and Bethel teaching false doctrine, and using hypnotic enchantment in their music, and in the case of Bethel, using Gandalf's black magic ritual to use the "authority" of an Apostolic decree, which is a misnomer because none of Bethel's leadership are Apostles and therefore don't have Apostolic authority. The occult has taken over so much of Hillsong and Bethel churches through their music and black magic rituals that normal congregation members not familiar with the truth of the Bible are being deceived and put on the road to hell. The OP gave his or her personal opinion about the Bibles that he or she trusts.. one of them is what the kjvo says is corrupt.. so that discredits their own words that stated "corrupt Bibles are sending people to hell".. obviously personal opinions can rule over what the kjvo people say in setting up one Bible as having authority over all others.
The main Bible version that I use is the NAS. I've read the King James enough to see that it still uses outdated English that can hinder understanding of what God intended to be clear.
I have a mate that truly idolises the KJV. he is nuts in his assessment of such, just childish dribble he has been indoctrinated in, yes it is one of the best I say and I do say that the newer versions are crap. You bet! It is from some uninformed crackpot that makes the King James an idol!
If I was reading an original manuscript, I'd still need the Lord's help with understanding it. But since all translations are "corrupt" and another's interpretation seems to lead many into error, it's worth the effort to me to seek the Lord about it.HI,
Just making it known tho you probably know but 4 tho's who don't know there's corrupt bibles
out there written from corrupt manuscripts purposely to obstruct us from receiving the real word of God. Many souls are on their way 2 hell because of lie's and false teachings!!
Here's a list of a few corrupted bibles, its not an exhaustive list, I'm sure there's more out there: NIV, ASV, NWT, RSV, QJV, Bibles I trust: KJV, ESV and NKJV partly coz there are some question marks about the NKJV.
I'd rather have the Scriptures for the <<The fourth leg of the Trinity>> than that audacious BLASPHEMING spirit of man falsely claiming to be the Holy Spirit of God.The fourth leg of the Trinity!
