Just as deadly or more. In fact I could say COVID-19 could be the modern Black plague. The difference is we know how a person gets it and how not to be afraid. It took almost until the modern era to learn how the black plague was transmitted. The problem is that the media is successfully scaring people, the same media in Feb that people did not trust.

In many ways, unless he is honest (a rarity) and actually has studied outside the gates (another rarity).

Look up the published causes of death on the FDA, AMA and CDC websites for the last any number of years.

The fastest growing cause of death, and now in the top three, is medicine.

Those who practice what is right, "first of all do no harm", is another rarity, but saves more lives without causing harm.

Fact is . . . you have no idea who my doctor is, or what he does, or how he practices. The same it true for almost every doctor on earth. You don't know them. You don't know whether they are liars or not. You only make grandiose claims overgeneralizing a great many people.

No, I didn’t think that- I merely posted about a member of the forum losing someone to prove that the virus was real and not fake as someone earlier posted it was ‘ fake ‘.
Don’t get me wrong, the press is very much spinning things in the UK, and that is going on in the USA as well.
So I don’t think we have all the facts, the numbers are pretty difficult to assess and I agree that other factors may be equating to some of the death - especially in care homes. However the reality is that this virus is horrible and people are succumbing very quickly- and we are seeing many younger people affected. Sadly today we heard of a 28year old mother who died, her baby survived - and nurses and doctors dying- people just doing their jobs and becoming more exposed as a result.
So when certain members with no respect for the medical workers, or they say it is fake, it saddens me because people’s lives are being impacted xx

Exactly. One that sticks with me is a girl that had Cerebral Palsy (CP) was working in a grocery store and got the virus, she was diagnosed, started showing symptoms and when her parents rushed her to the hospital she died in the parking lot in her mothers arms from a heart attack due to the virus. It still gets to me because I have CP too.

It is not just the media it is also Christian Scientist saying how deadly the virus is. If you have an under lying problem and you get it you will be dead, the problem is that the government over reacted and shut down the economy when they didn't need to. Of course the Dems are taking advantage of it and making sure we lose our Constitutional God given rights
