Lots of hot language and name-calling in that post. You got in a few insult of me too, saying I had hate. You got anything else to offer?

As for the "fakenews site" link? Take that up with Reformed. He gave it, not me, remember in post #636? Or are you too losing your mind? That link was:

'Why No One Trusts Media': NYT Reporters Circulate Misleading Trump Quote on Wuhan Coronavirus

He wasn't talking about that link smart one....
He quoted my post, and I was quoting from the article at the link you gave. I copied and pasted the reporter's tweet from Town Hall. I think some of you Trump people are going bonkers. Unhinged.

I read the article at Town Hall. It didn't change my mind.

Now, here’s the full quote:

“Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves. We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.”

And that's why Trump calls the media the enemy of the people.

What a crazy leap in logic to say this was why Trump calls the media the enemy of the people. The part the reporter left out was about how Trump didn't know what he could get for people. That was the context: "Don't count on me. I'll "back" you if I can, but you may be on your own."

Except that isn't what it said at all. You are as dishonest as the media.

Here's why republicans were blindsided by the crisis, and democrats were not:

“Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves,” Mr. Trump told the governors during the conference call, a recording of which was shared with The New York Times. “We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.”
Trump to Governors on Ventilators: ‘Try Getting It Yourselves’

WITH MASSACHUSETTS HOSPITALS struggling to obtain badly needed stockpiled equipment for their patients and frontline workers, Gov. Charlie Baker defended President Trump’s message to the nation’s governors on Monday that they should try getting respirators, ventilators, and other equipment themselves.

“We are backing you in terms of equipment and getting what you need,” the New York Times quoted Trump as saying, citing a leaked recording of the phone call. “Also, respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment – try getting it yourselves. We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Points of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.”

Pretty sure both Republicans and Democrats, and the rest of the world, were blindsided by the crisis.

Except that democrats know what was coming long before republicans were. The difference was in whom they believed. Some were, unfortunately, willing to believe Donald Trump's assurances that it would soon be "zero."

Trump now says he knew it was a pandemic all along...

He lies to you, even when he knows you know he's lying to you.

I will admit this one is a head scratcher.

It's entirely consistent with his behavior from the day he took office. This is the way he operates.

There's lots of data out there on other issues. If you look, you'll find it. Or if you like, I can pull up some for you.

I've never said otherwise now have I? But many of the lies that WaPo tracks, for instance, are nothing of the sort and rather distortions of what was or was not said or taken out of context.

Nope. Even most of his supporters readily admit that he's a habitual liar.

But many of the lies that WaPo tracks, for instance, are nothing of the sort and rather distortions of what was or was not said or taken out of context.

There's plenty of good examples.
"Article II allows me to do whatever I want,” Trump told ABC News in June.

"Then I have an Article II, where I have the right to do whatever I want as president,” he said in Washington in July.

It's a lie. An obvious one.

“You’re not paying for those tariffs. China’s paying for those tariffs,” the president told an Ohio crowd in August. “Until such time as there is a deal, we will be taxing the hell out of China.”

Economists and experts told NBC News that this is false. Consumers purchasing foreign goods are the ones who picked up the tab. In August, J.P. Morgan estimated the cost of these tariffs on average U.S. families was more than $1,000.

In September, the president came under fire for tweeting that Hurricane Dorian was expected to hit Alabama despite the fact that the vast majority of forecasts said it would not, according to a review by The Associated Press.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham, Alabama, tweeted to say Dorian would not affect the state. The president continued to insist he was correct, even apparently altering a map with a marker in the Oval Office to reflect this view.

The president has repeatedly advocated against wind energy in a way that has perplexed scientists and fact checkers. In April, he said the noise from windmills cause cancer and are a “graveyard” for birds. “They kill all the birds,” he said in August.
The American Cancer Society has rejected the claim that windmills or the sound of them cause cancer. Wind turbines do kill birds, though cats and cell towers kill significantly more winged creatures.

Trump's 10 biggest false claims in 2019 — and one that finally became true

Some of Trump’s lies have serious consequences. My pick for the worst is “There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea” and subsequent lies defending Kim Jong-un, which North Korea has used as cover to advance its nuclear and missile programs, and China used as an excuse to reduce sanctions enforcement.

No forecast showed that Alabama “will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated,” as Trump claimed on September 1. Nor was there any forecast where “Alabama was hit if not lightly, in some cases pretty hard. … They actually gave that a 95% chance probability,” as Trump claimed on September 4.
Trump’s Silliest Lies Are the Most Important

Under the Affordable Care Act, or ACA, health insurance plans cannot charge people higher prices because they have a medical condition. This protection has been intact since the law took effect, under then-President Barack Obama.

As a 2016 candidate, Trump promised to repeal and replace the health law. That came to a head in 2017, when the law came within one vote in the Senate of being undone.

"That tweet is part fantasy, part delusion, part politics, and all lie," said Jonathan Oberlander, a health policy professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. "The president is lying about preexisting conditions. He supported, and continues to support, efforts to repeal the ACA that would take those consumer protections away."

After that effort, Blumberg said, the president boasted that he had dismantled Obamacare – which is not only untrue, but, she added, confused many consumers.

PANTS ON FIRE: Trump’s latest California voter fraud claim as baseless as past allegations

In his recent interview on "Meet the Press", President Donald Trump claimed there’s proof to support his repeatedly debunked claim that "serious voter fraud" took place in California during the 2016 presidential election.

Trump alleged California "admitted" there were "a million" illegal votes in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump is wrong that Obama White House refused to turn over documents in congressional probes
President Donald Trump recently offered some inaccurate remarks to reporters about the congressional investigations into his campaign and his business practices.

Trump’s comments came after House Democrats released a list of 81 people who will be receiving document requests related to ongoing congressional investigations. Here’s what Trump said during the March 5 White House event:

"Instead of doing infrastructure, instead of doing health care, instead of doing so many things that they should be doing, they want to play games. President Obama, from what they tell me, was under a similar kind of a thing — didn’t give one letter. They didn’t do anything. They didn’t give one letter of the request. Many requests were made; they didn’t give a letter."
PolitiFact - Trump is wrong that Obama White House refused to turn over documents in congressional probes

Says troops recently received "one of the biggest pay raises" ever, and that it was the first pay increase in "more than 10 years."
"..you just got one of the biggest pay raises you’ve ever received ... You haven’t gotten one in more than 10 years — more than 10 years. And we got you a big one. I got you a big one. I got you a big one.

"They had plenty of people that came up. They said, ‘You know, we could make it smaller. We could make it 3 percent. We could make it 2 percent. We could make it 4 percent.’ I said, ‘No. Make it 10 percent. Make it more than 10 percent.’ Because it’s been a long time. It’s been more than 10 years. It’s been more than 10 years."

We fact-checked a similar claim from Trump in May, when he told military mothers and spouses at a White House event that he signed a bill to give service members a raise for the "first time in 10 years." We rated it Pants on Fire.

In reality, service members have received pay raises every year for more than three decades. The 2019 military pay increase of 2.6 percent
PolitiFact - Trump wrong on size and timing of military pay increases

He lies even when he knows you know he's lying. He can't help himself.

I haven't read through your whole post, but I have a feeling these quotes are taken out of context.
The context he left out was about the potential of firing Mueller, that was what the discussion concerned, it had nothing to do with claiming "omnipotence." So, he conveniently left that out. If they leave context out of Scripture they'll do it with any document.

I read the article at Town Hall. It didn't change my mind.

Lol! Truth and context never change your mind, and conveniently you left off the entirety of the context in your quote! That's called bearing false witness, to give only a portion of the statement only to leave off the qualifying portion. Pathetic. Why even argue if you're just going to misrepresent and deceive yourself? Zero integrity. You're a Christian?

They are widely available on the net. The context is whether or not he can do anything he wants. He says the Constitution allows him to do anything he wants.

And you can go to politifacts and see the links for yourself. He lies. Constantly, even over things that don't really matter like the size of the crowd at his inauguration.
