Everyone's perception of God is really a reflection of themselves.
We create 'our' God in our own image.
If you are a legally minded, unforgiving, and penal person then that is how you will perceive God to be.
And ditto for the opposites, and all the shades in between.

So what does God do with people who seem to delight in imagining others being tormented in hellfire? Why not let them experience it themselves? Let them have what they crave for others. If people want hellfire to exist, maybe God says, "Okay, let it exist. Let me know when you no longer want it to exist."

Proverbs 26:27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

If hellfire didn't exist, God might have to invent it to satisfy some people. I say careful what we wish for.

Kindergarten teachers are important

After revisiting your post, I agree that Kindergarten Teachers are very important in a very young child's beginning of life. Get a bad Teacher and this child's life/mind can be messed up for the rest of it. Children are so very impressionable at this age. Same for New Believers In Christ. It's terrifying to think that Osteen may have "first dibs" at some of these children's minds.

I disagree. Everyone has an opportunity to choose Christ! I don't believe God decides. However, he is already in the future and knows who will choose his Son.

Agree...be merciful as your God is merciful. Forgive as you have been forgiven. Love your neighbor as yourself. And even His making clear that includes your enemies. Maybe I’m confused but doesn’t that whole passage on the Father's perfection say God loves not only those who love Him, but also those who do not love Him. All of it just gets skipped over ...the tunnel vision being wrath and condemnation. Vessels hell bent on destruction. Fitted for it even.

I have a question. Sons are sometimes instructed by fathers and mothers that it takes more strength to walk away from a fight. Heard before it takes a greater man to control his tongue and keep his anger under control then it does to let loose on someone. Is that not true and it only promotes sissy boys who can’t defend themselves? He came for those of low estate. Yet we look at vulnerability and weakness as if they are the ones with the problem. Which takes more strength and power: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not” ...or wrath?

The issue is not who is in charge but who is deceiving others. Christ warned of deception even though He is in charge.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many... And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (Mt 24:4,5,11)

Joel Osteen is a false prophet and a false teacher. There are many critiques on his preaching and his Word of Faith philosophy.He has been quoted from the Larry King Show as saying this: ‘I know that I’m not a traditional pastor in terms of I’m just going down teaching scripture by scripture, because a lot of what I would teach is just how to live a great life.’ But Scripture is about how to live a saved life and a righteous life. More importantly it is about how to glorify God and Christ, and obey their commandments.

You can ignore the biblical revelation of God, and then make caricatures of the position however it will not in any way alter the truth.
God has purposed to save all the Father gave to Jesus.
The rest are left in their sin loving ,God hating rebellion.
That is why evangelism should take place.
