I am the way the truth and the life Says the Lord.

What else pray tell does one need. he is our truth, if we abide in Him He will abide in us.
And that’s theology my friend. When the Christ spoke to the Samaritan woman in John 4, He gave her theology. You can not be a witness to the lost w/o theology.

In case you have not noticed there are people on here with a lot worse problems than poor English usage.
I know, ...I'm aware that it sounded like i was criticizing for the sake of it, I just actually meant it as advice, because i truly was having a hard time following the train of thought. I felt that she was capable of doing better.
My apologies, it may have been out of place.

First, yes, and his word is truth, our sole source of truth for faith.

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.: John 14:26

As far as John 8, did you know that is likely not even part of Scripture?
And what difference would that make if we are led by the Holy Spirit? Does a person have to be a Bible school or seminary taught theologian to know Jesus, who is the Truth? Does God only speak to the hearts of people through the Bible? Is He so limited?

But you also assume that I am condemning someone. Who have I condemned? Seems there are quite a few people here that suffer from "victim complex."
I have not conversed a lot with you but I have read some of your 'short shrift' responses to people, which often directly or indirectly say that they are wrong but seldom provide any real clue as to how they might improve themselves. Once I saw where you provided link to a composition you wrote. Seeking to get better handle on where you were coming from I tried to follow the link, being an old man not so familiar with many computer ways I could not get to it so I still have never read it. You really should consider making access to what you believe a little simpler or at least copy and paste some of those things for the benefit of others.

Do know what the Holy Spirit is? Your seeming lack of reliance on the Holy Spirit from what I have seen reminds me of this verse:

"He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost." Acts 19:2

I really am not trying to insult you, but hoping that you will consider your own ways and perhaps really and sincerely talk to God about it:

"Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways." Haggai 1:6-7

Why was it that you attended whichever school you attended to learn about the Bible?

Communication is an important thing, whether people are speaking to each other with their mouths or writing posts as on this forum.

Good English usage may be helpful, but some people won't understand the writings of the best of English teachers.

People who for whatever reason did not learn what men call, 'good English' in school are not likely to learn now.

But... they can still can communicate better simply by slowing down and shortening what they write.

They should try to write the way they talk. They do communicate when they speak even if the grammar according to some is less than perfect.

Other people do understand their spoken words. Writing slowly and carefully will help.

Trying to make a good sentence when you don't know exactly what a sentence is will probably just muddy the waters.

Lots of spaces between thoughts, whether they are good sentences or not will help others to understand.

Never mind trying to follow sentence and paragraph rules when you are unsure of what those are.

The important thing is to communicate. Never mind that your English teacher would not give you an A+.

Better to get a C and have people understand than to get an F for something you don't understand yourself when you go back and read it!

BECAUSE we are COMMANDED to study.
Yes, we are... but study alone while it may earn you a high grade in school will not bring you closer to God. The dumbest of the dummies according to men, may be those who are closest to God.

Consider Saul before he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. He well educated in the scripture having studied at the feet of Gamaliel yet there he was standing by while they stoned Stephen to death. Later that same Saul/Paul wrote a large portion the NT.

Maybe I wouldn't have to condemn anyone if people leave me the hell alone! Common sense will tell you if you condemn me first I will do it back! And no I won't turn the other cheek I been doing that all my life...sometime a girls gotta speak up for himself and out her foot down! If you don't like what I post then why not be mature about it and ignore it..move along to the next post Duh!

Maybe it would be wise to use the ignore feature of the forum. For instance I can get quite mad on these forums because they are like the wild west. I had to place people like David and others on ignore for telling me basically I was a pagan because I am a Liturgical Christian and do not follow the Bible alone. I know now this forum is not a good place for people like me, Liturgical Christian, but there are some great people here. Hope this helps a bit

Yes I can all I need is Christ, it is the ignorance and pride of man that chase after theology, Jesus never needed it, He is the truth, and Saul who was adept at it knew nothing till His revelation with Christ. Says much for thelology,

As probably the most, initially, formally uneducated person on this forum, I am also likely the most emphatic of everyone here on using proper grammar, and in taking the time and effort to compose legible and understandable sentences and paragraphs. I quit school the day I turned 17, but I came to my senses and returned some years later to pack a couple of degrees under my belt. Being so dumb you don't stick it out is one thing. But it is even more stupid to remain uneducated.

However I do agree that making sure you get your message across is of primary importance.... even if you insist on remaining as dumb as a stump.

Since I've been on this forum I noticed three types of people on here, when someone comes in and speaks the true words of God in a thread, there goes the next one trying to stop the truth from being heard or someone else comes in defending that person because what they said made them agree with that person they defend that person and go against the one who told the truth...you know what some of you people are like.... Matthew 13:19. If we gonna be real here you better speak it wholeheartedly...and not just say stuff just to be right about something..you need to make sure what you speak is with all your heart..if you are not feeling it in your soul..then that means you don't love the truth because there is no truth in you....so you try to block the truth out.....with your deceptions and lies of a delusion.. etc. Please stop..lol you not fooling nobody....truth blockers
what did you post ? i would like to read it if i see something not scripture i will reply

BTW, never get yourself warped out of shape over someone saying you are not being "Scriptural." Usually, that only means you are not reading a certain Bible passage the way they think it should be read. Not always, but more times than not.

old age is getting the better of me, i have to submit the post than edit it to correct all the mistakes, just started typing and found I had 2 words swapped, I think in order but there seems to be a communication gap between my brain and my fingers.
