@HelenToday we had a heavy snow dump again...I nearly slipped over today..but I just grabbed the wing-mirror of the car and saved myself.
Christmas is a coming!!!! 'tis the time for snow...
Glad by God's grace you didn't hurt yourself. Yes,I like Christmas, but you can keep the snow...

Not warmer for us...we must have your weather and you ours.
Been -13 today with biting wind..snow also...not fun.

Same here...except for 'the damp' ...its very dry here , we can't often make snowballs..our snow is often like sand its so dry...which I like... But, sun is nice .

Hi @Helen ; it's been mild over past few days; a slight bit of snow on the ground; interesting that not far away on slightly higher ground there is more ice....
Want some of our heat. we have plenty to go around, humidity is our problem, we dont have enough so none of the usual thunderstorms, 31 today they say so expecting 33, 41 down south, that should melt some snow. Mind you its typical for this time of year, humidity thats another thing.I am holding my breath in hopes that we can sneak out of 2019 at zero temps.... I have my toes crossed

I don't mind it at all..as it has been for the last three months....it's the -25 down to - 40 which is so hard to take...that is why I am so happy with our consistent zero!! LOL
Ye one of my sons used to live in Kiel in Germany, had that prob too, hes now in hamburg doesnt quiet get so bad. I thing its about 2 over there
84f or 28c in my kitchen... Without any air con. Or cooking going on. Outside, fine, sunny, and going up steadily to a forecast 102f or 38c.

Strong hot winds across Southern Australia. Fires just 200klms east of Melbourne traveling 20 ks every 5 hours, many of them uncontrolled. 30,000 residents and tourists been warned to leave east Gippsland.
Sydney under threat, many villages have been destroyed around Sydney, with no end in sight.
