My only time ever in Canada was in about 1966. I was stationed at Ft Lewis WA and went across the border that one time with a friend of mine who lived not far away on the Washington state side. The first time I recall attending a Baptist church was with him in his small hometown. Unfortunately, I did not take my camera with me. It is good that our friend @Yehren did not forget his.
Laughter indeed. I've never been a Texan, but I've lived next door to your north for better than 30 years now.Years ago, when a passport wasn't needed, my son took me from Seattle up to Vancouver. Love that city. On the way back, as we got to the border, a U.S. border agent looked into the car, and asked me "You an American citizen?"
I responded, "I'm from Texas."
He laughed, said "yes, you are" and waves us through.
