@Sabertooth If I may say so, sounds like you guys have a very healthy relationship! In my humble opinion if a married Christian lady is inked, it should be because she wanted to be, not because her husband did (and the opposite also)...Not that she has brought up, but it is still her call (except for 1 Corinthians 7:4).
I will still weigh in on varous issues, but if I am in no way responsible for the consequences, I leave such decisions up to her.
Here is a text character for you to copy, ¢(2c...)
@Sabertooth Ty! :)Here is a text character for you to copy, ¢
I don't know how to do that on this kind of forum. I just do copy/paste, here. Do Canadian dollars have a distinct symbol besides the "$"?Is there a code key for the character? up here we used Canadian dollars, although the cent sign should in theory work...
We usually say CND$ or is it $CDN or what...?I don't know how to do that on this kind of forum. I just do copy/paste, here. Do Canadian dollars have a distinct symbol besides the "$"?
That is a 1 Corinthians 7:4 consideration.I guess you know that some Christian husbands would get upset if their wife [snip] wanted ink...
@Sabertooth In a manner of speaking, although I was also thinking of what you said here:That is a 1 Corinthians 7:4 consideration.
...but it is still her call..
@Waiting on him PS: So maybe you just found out she already had one after all... :)Lol, she already has one.
@Sabertooth Oh okay, well, I won't press the point; it's between you guys in any case. These days it's often an 18 year old who initiates the interest in getting ink, anyway. The "her call" part applies to all of those other areas where I have no valid say in the matter.
1 Cor. 7:4 cuts both ways, anyway.Oh okay, well, I won't press the point; it's between you guys in any case.
@Truth Oh so you're comparing the avatar showing the shirt which is not permanent, with a tattoo which indeed is! :)
@Sabertooth No; your post was great, Sir; I was saying in a garbled way, I guess, that you simply offered an interesting, further comparison.Sorry, your response seems to be firm? I know it is not permanent, I didn't think it was necessary to make any offence, it is just another way to express my belief! Please, I do not condemn what other's choose to do, who am I.??
@Josho So anyway you do understand the basic desire to get tattooed? the basic desire to pierce one's ears? (often parlors do both).
@Josho Thanks; so I guess you would readily understand the rationale behind the poll question, right?... I do understand ones desire to get a tattoo...
@Sabertooth Yes, it's always best for the hypothetical tattooee to have the idea of doing it, right? if at all.Not that she has brought up...
