Seems anyway like so many young ppl today - esp. young women - successfully manage to overcome any nervousness as regards ink, right?Well, I was a bit nervous...
A skillful tattoo artist could probably modify it into something she found more tasteful.
After so many years with the profession dominated by men, it's good that clearly gifted artistic women are having the opportunity to excel in their talents.
So did you later get other tattoos?I remember when I was a kid, I made my first tatoo between my thum and finger...
Yes, exercising the role of tattoo artist is a responsible position of trust. After tattoos having been almost exclusively a man thing for so long, it's now also being proved over and over that the receiving and the giving of ink is a very womanly thing to do, at which women may excel. She is also the nicest too. Very mature for her age.
That one had become infected maybe because I used a needle, but back then I did not know the Lord and He did healed that area, like I can not see it.So did you later get other tattoos?
A lot of Christians find faith based ink a very effective conversation-starter in witness. But I guess you chose not to get any more ink, after your unsuccessful experiment? That one had become infected maybe because I used a needle, but back then I did not know the Lord and He did healed that area, like I can not see it.
yeah, I won't try that no time soon. :)A lot of Christians find faith based ink a very effective conversation-starter in witness. But I guess you chose not to get any more ink, after your unsuccessful experiment?
You've also mentioned Mrs. firstthings1st; so did she ever consider any ink? (It's very widespread now, though years ago the ladies didn't do it so much.)yeah, I won't try that no time soon. :)
She never cared for it.You've also mentioned Mrs. firstthings1st; so did she ever consider any ink? (It's very widespread now, though years ago the ladies didn't do it so much.)
Well, at least you can smile about it! some ppl can be very negative. Fact is, as a conversation-starter in witness a faith based tattoo can be so effective that many Christians today feel it's an opportunity that's too good to miss.
So was she on the most recent Ink Masters episodes? (I tried to look for it.)She is also the nicest too. Very mature for her age.

@Heart2Soul It's almost like that now; except that in North America it's not "required"; more accurately it's rather increasingly "expected" among many young men and (especially) so many young women. It used to be about being manly. Now also, doing it is so widely about being womanly. So not really "required" at all. But increasingly and widely "expected", I guess. Some cultures require it I believe....
Don't you think that tattoos are in a sense a 'snapshot' of one's state of mind at the time?I have several tattoos, and while I do not regret getting them I do not know that I would get them were I able to go back in time.
@michaelvpardo Do you think that in a general sense at least, these days it would be widely regarded as all part of the flourishing of a wife's personality? My wife had a few, and I had no problems with the ones that she had..
