As for 1 John 3:9 which YOU have taken out of context - you are now pitting this against other passages. namely Rom. 7:25 and 1 Tim. 1:15, wherein Paul admits to struggling with sin in his born again state. John is talking about living in willful sin - not stumbling as ALL Christians do.

The Jewish sects were formed out of their interpretations of Scripture, called the Talmud (not Scripture itself) forming their various traditions not unlike Rome and the East.
Their Scriptures existed as one whole which their Scribes meticulously copied and which Jesus and the Apostles quoted from.
Even our Septuagint testifies to that.
The NT was also written by Jewish hand picked Apostles, not written by Rome.

Hello...The Catholic Mirror is hardly some obscure rag printed in someone's basement...like light years apart from that. And there are tons of other statements from papists who claim the pope's word is above every other word. A catholic has no other option but to own this, not deny it.

I told Dead Bread that if such statements are heretical, why has the church tolerated such heresy among its ranks, instead of taking decisive action against all these papal "heretics" who say "false things" about the pope and the papacy?
