I think you should stop reading your bibleThe Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus per Luke 23:46.
See also Romans 8:9.
and learn some Christian theology.

That is why it is troublesome when anyone says that they are "required" to do anything to maintain salvation.
i gave you a like in principle, but i doubt you have met God wadr ok
Now that is hilarious!I think you should stop reading your bible
and learn some Christian theology.
Yes. That would be nice.
Have been receiving some nice insults from both @ScottA
and @Lady Crosstalk ....
I can't imagine why...
I try to stick to scripture but am finding it difficult with them.
Will no longer reply to either one.
It has to come from the Bible or else not at all...Now that is hilarious!
You're saying that we do not get Christian theology from the Bible.
Should I start reading COMMENTARIES instead?
The diagram suggests three separate beings who are God.
Agreed.three Gods.
Oh wait, never mind...the arrows between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit say "distinct from" rather than "NOT"...and I actually agree with that.
But I would also say that there is a sense in which the Father is the Son is the Holy Ghost...while they are also distinct from each other. Because they are distinct...not separate.
No.The diagram suggests three separate beings who are God.
I think I do...for you to understand it, you would have to go through a process of thinking about it with certain things in mind...Agreed.
Anyway, WHO can understand the Trinity??
:
I would go so far as to say that there are three Persons who are in effect the same Person. One God.No.
There are 3 persons in ONE GOD.
You got it the second time you looked.
I would definitely use the word Persons for Father, Son and Holy Spirit; I don't see Scripture saying that they supposedly merge into one.I would go so far as to say that there are three Persons who are in effect the same Person. One God.
It's really all about the witness of Scripture to God in Three Persons (John's Gospel, John's First Epistle, Matthew 28, Romans 8, etc.)I think I do...for you to understand it, you would have to go through a process of thinking about it with certain things in mind...
Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.
They don't merge into one...one disseminates into three. And I would use the terminology of both Persons and Person.I would definitely use the word Persons for Father, Son and Holy Spirit; I don't see Scripture saying that they supposedly merge into one.
Can you be more specific (maybe take it to the other thread)? It's really all about the witness of Scripture to God in Three Persons (John's Gospel, John's First Epistle, Matthew 28, Romans 8, etc.)
Sorry, which thread? Can you be more specific (maybe take it to the other thread)?
Oh okay; I'll take a look.
its not that i dont believe all that, bc i dont know. Its that it amounts to testifying of yourself wadrIts okay. You don't have to believe He lives in me and I commune with Him. It doesn't offend me. I would have had a hard time believing it too 13 years ago.
