one way to find out i guess. Call Lex! :)
Ah, no, i'm picking up what you are laying down bro, you are seriously on a Truth wave there, follow it out imo. G'nite, and don't shy away from the obv there k peaceIts just a really odd way that God speaks sometimes, a little like...its already happened, because He already knows what the end is, since its going to happen exactly as He has planned. Trying to think of another instance where He spoke that way but I'd have to go digging for it.
Ah, could you pare it down to the relevant v, ty, i can't wade lol
Gee, not in the 6 days or anything, huh, hmm. Wanna see when the world was founded? With your own Two Eyes?
I suggest that they are instilled, and not um "natural" tho
"I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee." Psalm 2:7Could you provide the Scriptural arg, ty
Let's not forget and you will do even greater things15John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’”
My current working theory is that we conflate Jesus with Christ bc we forget that the Spirit came and rested on Him at a certain point15John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me

Word Origin
TAG29The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!30He is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘A man is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’ 31I did not recognize him as the Messiah, but I have been baptizing with water so that he might be revealed to Israel.”
32Then John testified, “I saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove from heaven and resting upon him. 33I didn’t know he was the one, but when God sent me to baptize with water, he told me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 34I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Chosen One of God.l”

It doesn't say when the world was founded. It just says the Lamb was slain before that.

Trying to think of another instance where He spoke that way but I'd have to go digging for it. I think I noted it a few times in the prophets.
You and I and all of the rest of us are "good" at coming to conclusions. Have any of us ever changed our mind? But then God...Mmm...you sort of need all of it to arrive at the conclusion that Jesus is who John is talking about...
He begins by saying in the beginning the word already existed. Seems to be referring us back to the beginning of Genesis, which also begins: In the beginning.
In the beginning the word already existed. The word was with God and the word was God. So what's "the word?"
John answers that next. He says the word is a HE.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through HIM.
Etc., etc., until you (or at least I) come to a lot of conclusions.

Revelation 13:8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written (literally, whose names do not remain written) in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
In this passage, "from the foundation of the world" can belong grammatically with either "whose names do not remain written" or with "the Lamb slain". Since there is this grammatical ambiguity, I look to the parallel passage for clarification.
Revelation 17:8
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Much love!
