Well, exactly; with the discrediting of socialism, there needs to be another myth that politicians talk about in order to justify high levels of taxation and bureaucracy.

to all the Polar Bear club up north. hope things are warming up.
spring has sprung here starting in late feb, and it's beautiful. the birds chirping, grass need cutting, the trees are green, and the sun is out everyday. the temps are in the high 70's with a light breeze..... perfect.
but next week a lot of rain, and 80's. as said april showers bring may flowers.

For us it is so nice to be staying above zero. :)
The vegetation ( and animals ) could do with so rain..everything is dead and brown..some green would be nice. If no rain, we will have to get the water hose out soon, or we will lose the shrubs and flowers.
We have a few birds, but as yet no pretty singing ones...not even many sparrows yet. But the geese are back, so that is good. :)
