Funny! It's in this very thread that I stated coreissue libels us, and jbf says he hasn't seen the thread. Yet he's been posting in it, agreeing with it and doing the same himself in this very self same thread! "What thread, I never saw it?" Come on! Lol!!!!! :)![]()
There is an alternate interpretation that you have missed, which I have given within the course of this thread. But I am not going to repeat it here in obedience to what it says in Matthew 7:5-6.All drawn by Him will be raised on the last day. If He draws all, all will be saved.
Nope, you're doing it. All I've done is call out the lies. You overlook those who've done it, then attempted feebly to make it look like I was attacking others.We're both doing it, that is what I'm trying to tell you. You dragged me into it even after I tried to warn against such a course.
This post is proof that you are totally ignorant of the historic faith.
men are fully responsible to repent and believe the gospel.God works through means.
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God..
When a person comes to know God savingly, they understand this.
It is the characteristic of the unregenerated person that they are in denial of their own sin when called out on it. You have three fingers pointing back at you; there is a beam in your own eye. Take that out before you try to remove the speck out of mine.Nope, you're doing it. All I've done is call out the lies. Nope.
I called out others (and you're one of them.) Huge difference. No need to make me do it again is there? Up to you.

nor from any power or agency in the creature, being wholly passive therein, being dead in sins and trespasses, until being quickened and renewed by the Holy Spirit;
From the noise the colonists are now making, if a person predestined for salvation doesn't repent they they go to hell.
That’s not my point. Please stop being obtuse and address my post. I showed what the word draw means in the original language it was penned in. To draw someone means to literally drag them. This means when the Christ draws them, He effectually draws them.The English translation is preserved by the sovereignty of the Lord.
Meaning we have no free will.
So much for Irresistible Grace being Irresistible...
My friend, there is no alternate interpretation to this. I gave you the meaning of ‘draw’ in its original language and all it entails.There is an alternate interpretation that you have missed, which I have given within the course of this thread. But I am not going to repeat it here in obedience to what it says in Matthew 7:5-6.

slaves to the Christ and His imputed righteousness.
37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.[John 6]
Notice how He said those the Father gave Him will come. He draws, they come.

Exactly, and I've shown you a multitude of passages that show why and that the above is true, but you'll have none of that Scripture correcting you. No man is free in any capacity outside of Christ; John 8:36. You say the opposite of Christ himself. Should we guess who is correct?Meaning we have no free will.
All you're showing is you don't know what irresistible grace teaches. Then you attack your straw man and pronounce yourself the winner. Of something.So much for Irresistible Grace being Irresistible...
