this is not speaking of Joseph, but the God of Jacob who
Gen 49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

two things to note. #1. it was the God of Jacob, the shepherd comma (,) the stone of Israel that made Joseph fruitful as stated in verse 22.

#2. this same God of Jacob that made Joseph fruitful, also made the arms of his hands strong. by .. who? ..... the hands of the mighty God of Jacob. and the same God, the shepherd comma (,) the stone of Israel that made Joseph arms of his hands strong, is the same God who
Gen 49:25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:


see, Joseph can't bless anyone with the blessing of heaven above, only God can bless us with heavenly blessing. because,
John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

just read a few verses before and after the target scripture with the Holy Ghost and one will get the true meaning.
