I myself never lived there. Some kinfolk lived around there and still do. I worked in Cedar Park, probably long before your time. The best friend I ever had was and is from Leander.
Sorry for the experience you had there. We (Christians) offend in so many ways. And we (Christians) are offended in so many ways. But God is with us, whether if it be in our being offended or being wrong in offending.

Well it was more my depression that had Leander seem a bit grey. My aunt was agnostic and those high school kids were just bullies I forgive. But Leader was very helpful in a start of true healing. And for me growing out of legalism, well I grew up a lot too the second time I lived there. But I met my pastor and his wife like family to me, the best job in Cedar Park, and Celebrate Recovery, where I found out about Teen Challenge. So it was more everything going on in my life that made it seem so sad. My mom lived in a nursing home in Cedar Park for the longest time, before going back to one in Texas.
