Husband / or Wife !

I just want to remind you who are married !

Now that my husband is gone.......... I feel so lost and lonesome, but most of all !

I keep thinking was I kind enough for him ?

He was such a good husband and I just took it for granted........

I pray I did all the right things for him !

Now that it is to late......... ? I believe I was good ? I pray he felt I was !!!!

So I am just trying to remind you all , for that day to come for you !

Know for sure ! You did your best !!!!!!

We were married in 1957 and he passed 2 years ago...

Good words Grams. I am sure He thought of you as you do of him. Had you gone first, he would have felt as you do now. We all take those closest to us for granted.

He was a good husband because he had a good wife. But no matter how good we may try to be, when one close to us dies, we always feel we were not enough or didn't do enough.

Good advice. But I think no matter how hard we try we will all feel the same in that day.

Keep your eyes upon Jesus.

If you wonder if you were good to him then know that you need not wonder.

Those that would boast about how good they were to a departed loved one are saying one thing but in their heart seeing another.

I'm certain that you blessed him much as he blessed you. A marriage with God in the midst of it is a wonderful thing.

At a church service many years ago - decades actually - a visiting minister/prophet looked at my wife and I as we sat in the congregation and said "I see this couple right here as if they were both in a canoe. They're pulling together, paddling their canoe together on their journey with the Lord.

I think that you and your husband paddled your canoe together.

I keep remembering how my husband was not a complainer and how much pain he had
for years and did not tell me......... I did know about the last couple of years and tried
to make things easy for him.......But now as I think back, he had the pain going
for years and did not say a word.. went to the doctor and told me every thing is fine....

I went yesterday and was told I had an irregular heart beat. I tell her most everything. Somethings I don't that will cause needless grief. She's had a stint put in but we'll knows God healed my heart 40 years ago.

I try to judge what to speak so to shield others as best I can.

Well !!!! Since my husband is gone and did all that! it is hard for me to say any
thing for some one else..... I'm going around and hugging pillows to try to make me
feel better ....... so please do a lot of hugging to each other......... for a remembrance
