Only Jesus can judge.

I believe that I can discern that many of the doctrines of the Catholic Church are NOT from God. However, I also believe that there were/are many Godly people in the Catholic Church who faithfully believe in and follow Jesus, albeit perhaps not perfectly.

Only Jesus can judge.

I found it very odd but enchanting

Yeah the allure to deception often feels "enchanting"

many of the doctrines of the Catholic Church are NOT from God

That's why God put warnings in His Word concerning false doctrine and false teachers.

He has taught in His Word that he does not accept them

your shield in your avatar looks like your a catholic crusader...tell me about it!!

It's is not based on the fake catholic social club they claim is "the" church

It's based on Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Those that do not honor the Lord also do not honor what He says in His Word.

The catholics teach their adherents to put catholic doctrine before and above God's Word.

God forbids necromancy and idolatry as sinful behavior and those that do these things shall not enter in to His Kingdom according to what God's Word teaches.

Now, those teaching the broad way unto salvation like the catholic social club does believe it's all good and they all forms of religious thought lead to salvation.

They will be rewarded according to their works spending eternity with the devil.

I never thought he was the Antichrist.. But he's probably a lot hotter now.
Pope Frances was a Satanist in fact !
That Pope was an Anti-Christ in fact !
He never said Christ Jesus openly ! so as not to offend the Religious ! that means Islam, Jews etc, for he was clearly of this world ! only a religious monster !
All religious are a curse !
Religion never Saved anyones Soul in fact, only Christ Jesus Saves ones Soul in fact.
Everyone is religious regardless, even an Atheist is religious in fact, regardless what they may claim !
Communism is a Religion, maybe the greatest religion of all, because everyone must be as one ? or you are dealt with in fact ?

Satanist all have one thing in common, when the words Anti-Christ is mentioned, they have no regard ! or if the words Christ Jesus is mentioned, then they get offended in fact !

The RCC under Pope Frances, has it growen in numbers ? for if Christ Jesus is not the Well Spring, one will not get Growth ! Salvation does not abound if Christ Jesus is not the Key issue in fact !

I had time for Pope Ben and Pope JP 2. but the real issue was the Satanic Priest within the RCC and both of them Popes said it was so !

The MSM loved Pope Francis and showed only outright hostile cunning attacks on Pope JP 2 and Pope Ben 24/7 in fact ! so why the great change ? Pope Frances was in the arms of the MSM, just as Obama and Biden could do no wrong regards their Criminal Whore the MSM !

A very humble man he even asked not once but many times for everyone to pray for him so he was able to do his Job right. He choose Francis as his name which was a surprise. He asked everyone he saw to pray for him privately he never took his position light I believe he started all conversation that way when you met him he would first ask you to pray for him. He did not live in luxury as others did or as he could of .He was always for the poor those unwanted or unable to take care of themselves. He was a Man of God and a Great spiritual leader in our time always reminding us of the poor and pointing to Christ.

He is also last Pope in the Malachi prophecy which today is not thought to have been written by Malachi but that it was actually Nostradamus I kid you not look it up. I believe it sits in a Museum in France it does not even belong to the Catholic Church they do not hold it.So we actually will get to see that prophecy play out to the end it just happened today if you believe it.He would of been Peter the Roman the last pope on the list and all it says about him in the prophecy is that he would lead his people through difficult times not that he is evil. There is a ending if you want to read it someone posted a link.It kind of also based on the idea that Jesus would return in 2000 years and if he was here until he was 28 to 32 years old 2000 years would be right about now or between 2028 to 2032 if his age is correct and the year of his birth is correct I give it 4 years here. The timing is all there which is interesting. Not saying its true only the prophecy can prove that.

What’s wrong is that the Catholic Church teaches many things that directly contradict the Bible. It’s not about how charitable or active they are around the world, it's about truth. The Bible warns about false doctrine, no matter how religious or helpful someone appears (2 Corinthians 11:13–15). Evangelizing is only good if it’s the true gospel being preached. A false gospel leads people away from salvation, not toward it (Galatians 1:6–9).

Here are just a few key teachings of the Catholic Church that are not found in Scripture:

Praying to Mary and the saints – The Bible clearly teaches that we are to pray to God alone, through Jesus Christ, our only Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). No verse ever instructs us to ask the dead to intercede for us.

The Pope as the Vicar of Christ – Nowhere in the Bible is any man given that title or authority. Christ alone is the head of the Church (Colossians 1:18), and Peter never claimed supremacy over the other apostles.

Purgatory – The idea that souls go to a place of purification before heaven is not in the Bible. Scripture teaches that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord for those who are saved (2 Corinthians 5:8), and that judgment follows death (Hebrews 9:27).

The Eucharist as a literal re-sacrifice of Christ – Hebrews 10:10–14 says Christ was offered once for all, and His sacrifice is not repeated. The Mass contradicts that by claiming it is a continual offering.

Salvation through faith plus works – The Bible is clear that salvation is by grace through faith, not of works (Ephesians 2:8–9). Good works follow salvation, but they do not contribute to it.

Both calling a priest “father” and confessing sins to a priest are practices that directly contradict what the Bible teaches. Jesus made it clear in Matthew 23:9 when He said, “And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.” He wasn’t talking about biological fathers, but about spiritual titles. He was warning against exalting religious leaders and giving them authority that belongs only to God. When people call priests “father” in a spiritual sense, they are violating a direct command from Christ.

Confessing sins to a priest is also unbiblical
. The Catholic Church teaches that forgiveness must come through a priest, but the Bible says otherwise. First John 1:9 tells us, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” It doesn’t say to confess to a man, it says to confess to God. Forgiveness comes from Him alone. First Timothy 2:5 makes it even clearer: “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” No man has the authority to stand between you and God. When Jesus forgave sins, He was proving that He is God. For any man today to claim that same power is a dangerous deception.

These practices are not harmless traditions, they lead people to trust in men rather than in God. The Bible never gives priests the role of mediator or spiritual father. Only God is our Father, and only Christ is our Mediator. Anything that adds to or replaces the truth of the gospel is false, no matter how religious it may appear.

Your description focuses heavily on outward humility, good intentions, and concern for the poor, but none of that changes the core issue: teaching a false gospel. According to Scripture, a person can appear gentle, humble, and sincere, yet still be deceived and lead others into error. Second Corinthians 11:14–15 warns us that “even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.” God does not judge by outward appearance, He judges by truth. A man may choose a humble name, avoid luxury, and speak kindly, but if he leads people to trust in man-made traditions, sacraments, or saints instead of the finished work of Christ, then he is not pointing people to the true gospel.

Jesus said, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). And what is the will of the Father? That we believe in the One He has sent (John 6:29), and that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone, not through any religious system, priesthood, or ritual (Ephesians 2:8–9). Any spiritual leader who teaches otherwise is leading people down a path that looks religious but ends in destruction (Matthew 7:13–15).

As for the so-called prophecy of Malachy, whether or not it was written by him or falsely attributed, it has no authority. God’s Word is the only reliable source of prophecy and truth. We are not called to chase mysterious timelines or speculate about dates. Jesus said plainly in Matthew 24:36, “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” The return of Christ will happen in God’s perfect timing, and no list of popes or extra-biblical prophecies can change that.

A man may appear to be spiritual and even call for prayer, but if he denies the truth of God’s Word by promoting teachings not found in Scripture, then he is not a true man of God.
Being kind and charitable does not make someone right with God, only faith in the true gospel of Jesus Christ does.

If the Roman Catholic church promoted what Christ taught, it would have…..no veneration of his earthly mother, no pope, no idolatry, no hellfire, no purgatory, no repetitive prayers, no holy water, no rosary beads, no infant baptism, no earthly priesthood, no peculiar clothing or religious titles or headgear, and no lobbying God for anyone to become a “saint“ or a “Pope”, petitioning God, as the church was responsible for neither.

God personally chooses his “saints”, not the church…..and there was no such office as “Pope” when Jesus walked the earth. The “Pontiff” is a pagan Roman title, short for “Pontifex Maximus“.

A pagan Roman Emperor (Constantine) held that title. He claimed to have a vision where there appeared under the sun a flaming cross bearing the Latin words “In hoc signo vinces“, meaning “In this sign conquer.” It is also held that in a dream, Constantine was told to paint the first two letters of Christ’s name in Greek on the shields of his troops. Yet for Christians, no worldly conflicts were to be of concern to them. (Roman’s 12:17-21) No participation in bloodshed was permitted because they were to love their enemies. (Matt 5:43-44)

Concerning Constantine’s vision, the book A History of Christianity states: “There is a conflict of evidence about the exact time, place and details of this vision.”
Welcoming Constantine in Rome, a pagan Senate declared him chief Augustus and Pontifex Maximus, that is, high priest of the pagan religion of the empire.

Can you see any similarity between original Christianity and what it became under Roman domination?

all I know is that they have been all around the word evangelising...giving their knowledge and love to the poor..
And spreading their false religious ideas and practices all over the planet under the guise of loving people when all it wanted to do was control them through fear…..hell was not a nice concept because it didn’t come from God. That fear was instilled in childhood. Today, however, someone has virtually turned a hose on hell as the church now falls into an all embracing acceptance of all faiths…Christian or not. What a complete 180 degree turnabout from decades ago. What changed? God?
Mary praying? so what?
Mary is not a mediatrix…..one who hears prayers and intercedes on our behalf…..there is only “one Mediator between God and men…..and that is Jesus Christ…not Mary and not the saints. (1 Tim 2:5-6)

This is why we need knowledge….not blind faith….it is satan who leads the blind.

Confessing to priest is against the bible what did Jesus send his disciples out to do and it was not just the 12 - what were they doing? Its all nonsense and anti catholic jargon I hear it all the time.I bet you have never even investigated you just repeating the words of others you have no personal experience or actually really looked into it..Catholics are saved by faith in the death and resurrection of Christ just like every other Christian. Catholics are not told works saved that was a argument over the sacraments if you understand it.All Christians must bear fruit for God and Jesus himself clearly tells us to do it and what does he say - that your reward will be greater in heaven. If your not interested in a greater reward that's up to you Anyone trying to find their salvation in works simply does not understand the faith it is never preach in any Christian Church that works save if you understand it correctly. As for the sacraments being works I noticed many are back in the reform Church not exactly in the same way with only 3 missing.Baptism, Sacred Marriage, healing oils and don't deny it even forms of communion in some of the reformed churches gee I wonder how that happened. The only ones that you won't see is confession confirmation and the holy order which does not belong in the reformed Church so they will never be there they are strictly Catholic so you cannot call them works if its something you do yourself. It's not even a argument anymore the only reason people argue is that they don't understand what the original argument on works was about to begin with. They think its actually preached when clearly it is not.The doctrine of works is the sacrament if you do understand it.Go ahead tell me the sacraments are works but don't do anything similar if your calling them works remove them and go back to faith alone before you do that .
