There is no sin in learning God's word, but trying to discern good and evil falls into Satan's trick. It is sin, and this is the beginning of sin.
God's word is that life has nothing to do with sin.
God's word is a free gift for everyone, no matter what good and evil.........
I think we can all agree God is good, and everything God does is good and the right thing to do, even if some evil people think some things God does is evil
And Satan is evil and everything Satan does is evil and ultimately a bad thing to do.
Jesus taught us Satan is a liar as he speaks from his own nature and everything he speaks is a lie. That is true because Satan twists the things God says and does to make them seem evil. Evil celestial beings cannot be saved, only people can be saved, and God does that by transforming us in the image of Christ.
People are stuck in the middle ground; they naturally know the difference between good and evil being they have been shown by God what is good and evil. It is a good thing to believe in Christ.
Romans 1
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who [
d]suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is [
e]manifest [
f]in them, for God has shown
it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible
attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made,
even His eternal power and [
g]Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify
Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like [
h]corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
People though choose the darkness over the light as the things they do are evil. God has a very high standard of perfection. Jesus told us we will be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect. We can only achieve that by being born of the Spirit of God to become a new creation in Christ. So spiritually we are perfected, but physically no, our bodies are dead because of sin, and we eagerly await the redemption of our bodies at the resurrection. Spiritually we are alive in the Spirit and our life is hid with Christ when we believed. When Christ appears a second time, we will appear with Him in glory, meaning we will have the resurrected body, one like He has.
John 3
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
At the return of Christ is the day of judgment, the resurrection, and the new creation, the restoration of all things where God say He makes all thing new again. We who believe have been made new creatures in Christ, the physical creation though will also be liberated from the decay of death at Christ's return
Romans 8
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy
to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected
it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of [
f]corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only
that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for
it with perseverance.
Colossians 3
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ
who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Acts 3
11 Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed. 12 So when Peter saw
it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let
Him go. 14 But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15 and killed the [
b]Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. 16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which
comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did
it in ignorance, as
did also your rulers. 18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
20 and that He may send [
c]Jesus Christ, who was [
d]preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [
e]the world began.
22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 And it shall be
that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ 24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also [
f]foretold these days. 25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ 26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one
of you from your iniquities.”
