I don't want to jump out and say "this is me" but I've thought about it for a couple of days before deciding to comment. Both in poetry and in art many of the things I painted or wrote came true or signaled a life changing event to come.

I would tell the story, but the story is sixteen years long and it is too much. Lol

Unfortunately, a lot of the paintings at least, were related to a lot of trauma and heartbreak, and so I think I got rid of all of it the best I could. (I can say this without getting in trouble because Mr. Duck knows about it all. I told him everything before we got together and then more after.)

Having said that, I have not painted in years and refuse to. Every once in a while I think about trying.

I'm not there yet. It could not be me, but I felt like maybe I should say something and put it out there.

I remember you posted a picture of one of your paintings in one of your old threads, I thought it was pretty good. My wife is (or once was) a painter too, so I always try to encourage our artists. I hope you do regain the inspiration to paint.

(Though based on the Lord's words in @Angelina's vision, I suspect "painting" is a metaphor for a life being lived. And butterflies are one of my wife's favorite symbols, for they represent New Creation.)
