The dominoes will fall. The USA is the #1 consumer nation. The USA actually props most other countries economies up

What I think is happening now is that nations are scrambling to the negotiating table to keep from incurring tremendous losses in the short term, cuz the numbers represent billions of dollars, and some industries could go under. The question is how many are buying time until they can get out from under US dependence, and then show their true hand?

An interesting development, California will independently seek economic ties to tariffed countries, bypassing the federal government.
Tariffs are normally controlled and set by Congress. Trump has been using emergency powers to set these tariffs.

So yes, it could work for states have rights, and these tariffs are not LAW.

This seems like good news. But I wonder what she means by the last part...

Maybe they are offering zero-to-zero on industrial goods but not on other commodities?
I think she wants to exclude food from zero tariff negotiation. EU does not like our food exports. They must think it unhealthy.

Wouldn't be allowed because it would interfere with interstate commerce. Now if we were to sell California to China with a good chuck of the national debt that would be fitting.

Consider this could be God's will and plan, to put an end to debt in the by and by.

Interesting thought...

I know this, we may have here another great Trump revival on our hands in the short term, but in the long run global economic enslavement is coming eventually. Even scripture says so (Revelation 13:17). And I think it will be the Lord's way of finally drawing humanity into dependence upon Him, i.e. the church and those willing to turn to Him. For those not wiling, they may never know independence again.

I know they will try. Maybe it will apply only for California commerce.

The massive buying power of the USA dwarfs most nations' economies. Texas is bigger than many European countries and the Texas economy is larger than most European countries. Americans have the money to buy groceries and clothing that most of the world can't. I doubt any country can compete. Trump said the European Union was formed because of the United States, because individually they have no power. But the EU has a lot of immigration problems that caused crime to sky rocket. So police power has increased and now they need a military, and young people do not want to fight. They need to have a zero trade deficit to boost theirs and our economy. If the US economy is bad, theirs is bad.

Their particular trouble here is that they also have problems coming into agreement, especially on issues involving economics. So they have their work cut out for them now.

50% of world leaders have responded to president Trump, and the buzz word is Zero import tariffs will be imposed by many foreign nations so far "Wow", (The Art Of The Deal) and the commander in chief Donald J. Trump is going to (Make America Great Again) America First!
These quotes are just more lies out of Trump's mouth.
It never ends.

It is a boon to the economy of a country to have high tariffs on imports. It promotes their own industry by giving them an advantage in the marketplace within their own country. Then the US has free trade allowing our industry to be overwhelmed to the point of being outsourced. This isn't even factoring in the disparity between wages that also give an advantage to poorer countries. And now we are an unsustainable consumer driven economy. As money is going out but not coming in. Is all of America supposed to survive on retail markups alone?
In 2000 Bill Clinton signed the law below regarding Communist China, it was the greatest American sell out in its history supported by Democrats and Republicans alike $$$ Here we are 25 years later

Wikipedia: United States–China Relations Act of 2000

Prior to passage of the bill, China was subject to an annual review by Congress of China's trade status with the United States. Since 1980, the president has had to issue annual waivers to trade with China. The act removed the review, eased some trade barriers, and facilitated China's entry into the WTO. China became a member of WTO on December 11, 2001, and its permanent normal trade relations status with the US was made permanent on December 27, 2001.
