Trump Moving Too Fast?

For some this is a purely economics debate. For others it is also a political debate. For my own part, what motivated the creation of this thread was spiritual. It was created out of a growing concern over what I am hearing from my sources spiritually. Visions especially are pointing to BAD things coming. Now they may not be directly related to this dream the brother had which I mentioned in the OP, and maybe the visions are for further on down the road, but when you look at what is happening in world markets right now, it is not comforting. The markets are perplexed and spooked.

So we'll see. That analogy could be switched around to say we were indeed being held up at gunpoint but at least no one was pulling the trigger yet, whereas this situation we are in right now could be like someone going through rounds and we're hearing "click, click, click" and praying to God there's not a bullet in the next chamber.

The whole situation is spooky, so the analogy fits to a certain extent.

it truth this is about THE SPIRITUAL .
and spiritual wickedness is peaking . have you ever wondered why
it seems also impossible for them to make a REAL GOOD descision at all .
And no matter what one seems to point too
HECK there is a list of many reasons as to HOW IT CAN ALL go south .
The truth is this world , these nations ,and sadly i must admit a lot of christendom
has DONE this to ourselves .
THE ONLY SOLUTION would have been REPENTANCE . IF ITS NOT MADE
THEN DESTRUCTION WILL SURELY COME .

We should be praying and seeking help from God and include Him in everything we do. Jesus does tell us to ask, pray often and not grow weary.

James 4 says regarding business to do that very thing

13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow [h]we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. That this is all coming upon the nations and the world
TO REMIND us of something .
THAT WE SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED IN GOD and not in man .
And due to the fact that many ran to man BUT NOT TO GOD
this is the result .
HOW can a nation survive IF THAT NATION Not only gets worse but even refuses to REPENT to HEED GOD .
The solution is not and wont be found in the poltiical realm .
THE SOLUTION can ONLY BE FOUND IN GOD and people MUST REPENT AND TURN TO HIM NOW .

Jesus tells us to rejoice that your name is written in Heaven, and Paul tells us this in a confirming word. That He chose you from the beginning (of time) for salvation.

Yes, seeker was strange doctrine, like old Israel offering strange fire on the altar. End result was not so good.

If this were happening 40 or even 20 years ago, I would have been in favor of it. My question is the timing now. If the nations we trade with were to come down on theirs and we reciprocated, it might help, but he is talking about rebuilding an industry that will be very expensive to reconstruct, and forcing the US automobile buyer and car owner (which is most of us) to foot the bill. My wife and I have been considering if now is the time to buy a new car for her, but I just told her that we'd better act before May 4th or we could be paying thousands more out of pocket for the same thing. And everyone else is thinking the same thing, cuz apparently stock is driving off the lots right now at an accelerated pace.

The whole thing is a little scary, considering there are suggestions the world's economies are about to begin paying a heavy price for all the debt they incurred during Covid.

Consider this could be God's will and plan, to put an end to debt in the by and by.
