Crikey, I’ve watched half of the video, I will watch the rest later, my goodness, that woman is brave, what an adventurous spirit she has, all alone out there, her bike could break down, then I was thinking about all the wild animals that live there.
I never saw one, only some goats along her travels...then sheltering in the trees, she started to drive again, it will be interesting to see where she arrives at, as she said she hadn’t a clue where she was going,LOL.
Some of her vids have had over a million views...it was really interesting to watch...I’m in the middle of painting my bathroom...will definitely be back later, to see where she ended up,

I just found her videos. Didn't expect them to be so interesting. I already have watched a couple of her in Saudi Arabia. She didn't wear any hijab which I thought every female had to wear there. Maybe the law changed for tourists.
She desperately needed a hotel but apparently during an Islamic holiday, maybe the Haj, they aren't allowed to give a room to non-Muslims in a certain city. But they let her stay just to sleep and knocked at her door at 7 am for her to get out.
Ten months ago when she was in an African country...forgot which one...she crashed in the bush and broke her collar bone. She laid on the road for hours until a car finally came by and they drove her for hours to a hospital. She didn't want surgery there but was flown back to The Netherlands for surgery.
Beautiful scenery in Turkey. I loved the tiny town towards the end of the video. Very narrow streets with old stone buildings. Her room at the inn is an actual cave.
Very interesting. She is in Yemen. Historical old buildings made of mud, old marketplace, food served to you on the floor, stray cats wandering around.
One has to be ready to lift the front wheel over a rut like that she drove the front wheel into.
but a lot of gear she has on that bike.
Poor woman to go through all of that afterwards back home.
I wonder how old she is ? 40's ?
Riding on your own is not the brightest thing to do rergardless, but I did such myself many a time.
She had to spend several hours at the huge border into Iraq getting all sorts of paperwork....so it ended up getting dark. A man who worked at the border invited her to stay at his mother's house because it was dark and deserted. He took her to eat and also to a mechanic to fix her bike. The mechanic wouldn't accept any money.

Well, if I others could get such financing, a similar adventurous lifestyle could be pursued.
I know she has a lot of subscribers on YouTube. She is a geologist from what I saw on one of the comments. Also, at the end of her videos, a few companies are listed. So perhaps they help sponsor her.

I have done similar trips and encourage others to step out of their confines, take some risks, sacrifice some comforts and learn of the World and it's people around them first hand....instead of having their opinions shaped by CNN while reclining in a lazy chair.
The ingenuity required to pull something like this off is open to all.
Put your mind to something and it will surprise you how the finances come together.
All my trips (adventures) have been shoestring operations ie, not flush with cash....yet they were done nevertheless.
Once she reaches a hotel, it's usually a very modest, small establishment in small towns. Such as the ones she stayed in on the Honduras and Guatemala videos. In one Saudi Arabian tiny village, that hotel was also quite small and quaint....her room was an actual cave.
@Wrangler In most countries, Western currency goes a lot farther. When I looked up salaries for India awhile back.... monthly salary for a teacher was $200 a month. I saw you could buy a soda for sixteen cents!

It's not all as good as it looks to be, as a lot of people could not hack doing such for sure.
She did not buy brand new bikes.
I seen another sort of adventure riders some years ago, people from the USA going all places in the USA and all the way down to South America and all. I have forgot what it's called. but yes great to see vidios they showed getting about and people they met were nice.
you can not do that here in some places, they will steal the eye out of a needle here !
Maybe I should of done the same myself all over Australia, you all would of seen a lot of punch up's for sure ! but I would never take my dirt bike even down to the shoping center here and leave it out of my sight for 5min !
The Police here are totaly useless, the Left Government as created all of the problems with morons knowing that they can get away with much of anything.
The only thing such people understand is a punch in the face, seriously !
It does not have a ignition key, only a steering lock. 2 men could just pick it up toss it in the back of a ute and it's gone.
And I always bought brand new bikes, the type that attract thieves like flys tho.
We have cameras everywhere here in the city etc but why do they have so many of them, when they can not catch them anyway.
The morons can just walk into any shop and steal grog, food etc and no one can do a thing about it, or you are the monster and fined or loose your job. thanks to the Lefty's Government's who have clearly created such morons !
I think where she goes is places that crime is dealt with harshly, so people feer to do wrong !
See that one were she got her bike stolen and it came back within a hour say ?
I think because she is a woman people will not try and take advantage of her to much, because they will be thinking something is up, and someone is watching them if they get out of line.

Yes, I watched that...it got stolen from a hotel in Iraq. But she had two air tags on it and tracked it. The staff didn't seem interested in calling the police.
A hotel guest walked with her to track down the bike. The thieves couldn't start the bike.
