I Disagree

America needs to cut China off immediately, it's a matter of National security just as Presudent Trump has stated several times

To think China is in control of America's pharmaceutical's is "Scary" just to mention one, the drug epidemic killing the world that they are causing is added weight

To think China uses profits made in foreign trade, to build their military and agenda to expand for dominance and control of the world is "Scary"

China is the world's enemy #1 and must be stopped, if it takes America suffering pain in the transition to do this so be it, China must be stopped, there's no other alternative

I understand your point, but is this the way to do it? What may happen if trends continue is that China just gathers the rest of the world into closer partnership with them while the US and China slap each other with 50% tariffs. It could hurt us a lot more than them.

Interconnected doesn’t address the underlying problem of employment when so many countries produce more than they consume.

Again , Wrangler (and I realize you may not have read all my interactions so I understand), I think this is a huge gamble simply because the "short term pain" may soon get very real, and felt all over the planet, whereas the rebuilding of US manufacturing for the sake of creating jobs may fizzle if Americans in general have less and less money to buy much of anything but necessities in five years because the economy is tanking.
‘Growth’ via exports, ‘strengthening interconnectedness’ is said to be the Holy Grail which is a bizarre departure from the ‘sustainability’ mantra of energy and birth rate.

Don't get me started on birth rate, LoL. Birth rate amongst native Americans and actual available work force is a whole other can of worms.

1st, you completely missed my point of worldwide over production.

2nd, the short term goal is not to rebuild US manufacturing but get our exports up by immediate lowering of tariffs against US goods.

No, no, soberxp. What's highly different is the interconnectedness of the global economy today. It's MUCH more interdependent now than in 1828, or even 1929.
In short, the three tariff plans did not play a good effect in the end, are negative effects.

The worst outcome is civil war or world war, and economic crisis is little better.

Yes Canada has been on the American free ride way to long,
Which free ride?
And don't repeat the liar's quotes from the White House.

Just remember it will take about 5 years to built new car factories in the US.
And according to the manufacturers they are not interested.
It takes too long while the Canadians shut it down because of the tariffs and the slow sales.

I hope you will understand that this tariff war will cause many people to suffer financially on both sides of the border, as well in Europe and elsewhere.
Massive unemployment, massive inflation. Massive unrest.
As mentioned by somebody on this thread before, a WW3 could start because of it.

Really?
Why not?
Only a total moron would want civil War ! but the Left are always simple lead Morons !

Look what happened in the USA with all of the trouble they did and the MSM did their best to hide it all or made no big deal about all such looting and destruction, but some walked into one place political place and the MSM only pushed to made a huge thing about such, that was nothing like the rest had been way out of control doing all over the place for how long.

Not to mention all of the total BS that the MSM and such Morons claimed with the Idolised angel man, who they claimed the cop killed, was all total BS in fact !
Angel man had drugs bust in his arse that's why the moron died ! and he resisted Police, a typical out right total criminal fool ! a MSM Idolised, one who did ? to how many other people ? real nice bloke, hell no !
The MSM love people to all be like their bastard Angel man !

Well that's a different tack than I thought you were taking, and it's interesting, because if it didn't go well then it assuredly won't now. My apologies for not looking into all that when you suggested, or I might have understood. I was kinda strapped for time when I read your post. :gd

You appear to be ignorant of Communist China's agressive role in the world, South China Sea, Taiwan, Phillipines, Japan, South Korea, Panama Canal, they're in a massive Military build up and they directly are in confrontations with the west

"China must be stopped immediately" or the western free world will be doomed!

It was a pleasure to watch the news tonight, 50% of world leaders have responded to president Trump, and the buzz word is Zero import tariffs will be imposed by many foreign nations so far "Wow", (The Art Of The Deal) and the commander in chief Donald J. Trump is going to (Make America Great Again) America First!

Over 100.000s are protesting.
Of course there is no need, problem is a large amount of people disagree with your statement.
Many of the protestors are paid workers for George Soros, do you need a job contact (Indivisible Project) to mention one of many, lol

New York Post

Here are the five radical leftist groups protesting Elon Musk – one of which received $7.6M from George Soros

Indivisible Project, a Washington-based non-profit, has been almost entirely financed by Soros’s Open Society. It is coordinating a cross-country protest against Musk, empowering “grassroots” affiliates to “stop the Trump-Musk coup,” according to its website.

The group took in more than $7.6 million from Open Society between 2017 and 2023. It was originally set up in 2016 to protest the election of Donald Trump.

Indivisible Action, a related Political Action Committee, has raised more than $9 million, public records show.

I suggest you stay away from these so-called "justice", these political and UN things have no justice, those are just agreements. These are the fruits of the tree of good and evil in this world. Eating it no good for you. It will only keep you away from the word of God.
